059- VALEDICTION OF THE HEIR
My forehead creased in confusion while staring at Theo's direction habang kasalukuyan itong nakaharap kay Typhon. Hindi nakalampas sa pandinig ko yung tinawag nito kay Theo kanina.
"Last son of Zeus"
"What did he mean by that?", I tried to ask Theoddeus pero hindi niya ako sinagot at sa halip ay bumaling siya kay Kai.
Theoddeus, do you know something that I don't?
"Nezekaiah, the gateway. And...", saad niya lang bago nilingon ang gawi namin. His eyes settled on me for a couple of seconds before turning to Kai na nakahawak sakin.
"Remember our promise.", he stated. Unti-unting nanlaki ang mata ko as I even saw Kai nod at him.
"Of course.", sagot ni Kai kay Theo before he dragged me away from him. I struggled in his grasp, trying to reach Theo pero tuluyan na niya kaming tinalikuran before summoning his divine weapon back.
"NNo. Theoddeus, wait. Stop!", he's f*cking serious about trying to deal with Typhon alone?What in the gods is he thinking?
"Kai. Let me go! I need to---", I was about to use force upon removing Kai's hold on me pero nagulat ako nang marahas niya akong pinaharap sa kanya.
"Focus, Kria. Remember why we're here in the first place. If we don't open the gateway to Tartarus now, it'll mean the end.", he stated with a tone of warning.
"But Theo---"
"Theoddeus will die in vain if we don't hurry! Do you want that to happen?", nagulat ako sa biglaang pagsigaw niya sakin as I slowly shook my head in response. No. I don't want that to happen.
"Remember that the only way to beat Typhon is to send him to Tartarus. You better snap out of it.", huling bilin niya sakin hanggang sa makaharap kami sa gawi ni Eur.
"Alaxceur, we're not getting any younger here!", Kai yelled at Eur na kaagad na napalingon sa'min.
"I just finished the incantation. Assh*le.", he sarcastically retorted before rolling his eyes at Kai.
Kita ko ang pagtayo ni Eur sa mismong harapan ng Kola Well, and at the exact moment that one of us would least expect, the ground started to break below us, causing a powerful and intense earthquake that shook the whole place. Kai immediately held my waist to assist me with my balance.
I saw with my own two eyes how Eur willed the grounds to open as the large crack extended kilometers away from where we stood. Mas lalong lumakas ang pagyanig ng buong paligid kasabay nang unti-unting pagbilis ng tibok ng puso ko habang pinagmamasdan yung patuloy na paglaki ng butas ng Kola well na siyang kagagawan ni Eur.
"Now... it resembles the one I saw in my visions.", a thick cloud of miasma began to surround our atmosphere as it flowed out of the massive hole that descend thousands of kilometers down to the center of the earth. Gulat kong tinitigan si Eur.
His entire body was shaking from withstanding the pull of his attribute---trying his best not to lose control of the grounds.
"So he's the one who made that possible.", my vision of the Kola Well. Si Eur pala ang may-gawa nun.
Of course, I almost forgot that the Poseidon isn't only the god of the seas but he's the god earthquakes as well. With that reputation, he was known as The Earth Shaker.
