Triumph and Disaster met at a party while making a beeline for the prawn starters. They each sheepishly apologized and motioned to the other to fill their plate first. The poor, awkwardly thin man standing behind them managed to slip through the gap and fill up on the starters. Well, the rest they say is history because he did get more than a plateful, but this time of both Triumph and Disaster. That poor bugger didn't see it coming but isn't that what you get when you are in such a tearing hurry to get ahead.
