One must be put to the test. One must burn the body and turn it to ash upon its demise. Put in some boiling water, face the heat, feel the burn, walk on fire, and many more such words explain that the lessons we learn in life and the test of fire seem correlated. Like a phoenix, we rise from the ashes and are reborn and renewed, with our lessons neatly and securely tucked into our souls.
