I was certain that I was in the Himalayas because it was nothing short of spectacular. The view of the snow-capped mountains, the pure white color, untainted and something only God could create. A clear blue lake, calm and serene, was at the base. I sat at the other end, gazing in wonder, when I saw a reclining figure of Lord Shiva, in white marble, floating on the crystal blue water. The image was more magnificent than nature could accommodate, and the look on His face was so serene that I wanted to bask in that bliss for all eternity. Tears rolled down my cheeks; I had no control over them. I felt so small in comparison to my surroundings. A warm glow engulfed me, making me feel like a drop in the ocean. It must be what merging with divine energy must feel like. Here I am, trudging from one lifetime to the next in the hope of reconnecting with that beautiful energy.
