I read an interview a while back where a celebrity commented that she didn't fear anything. I thought those were bold words, and I almost admired her attitude except for its utter foolishness. I am not a believer in tempting Fate; it has a funny way of slapping the silly out of us all! The other objection I had to this statement is that I feel that as long as you are alive, you will fear. It comes in many forms; the fear of losing your loved ones, financial loss and ill health. It keeps us in check from harming others and ourselves. There are consequences to our actions and fear of punishment in all walks of life. If we were to live fearlessly, we would leave a trail of destruction behind us.
