My house of cards came crashing down. I had forgotten to shut the window. I was engrossed in the task at hand, painstakingly placing everything perfectly. I was oblivious to the storm brewing outside. The menacing dark clouds surrounded me, and with one mighty gush of wind, everything was taken away from me. I was left at the sight of destruction, standing all alone. My hair was unkept as it danced wildly with the untamed torrent of dusty wind. I just lifted my arms towards the sky; looking up, I realized that the whole world was my shelter and that natural beauty lies in our imperfections and ability to start afresh. I had never looked so raw and beautiful as when I surrendered.
