The ever-changing waves of the ocean wash ashore. They dance to the tune of the moon and are fluid in their movement. I marvel at the sight, sitting on a jagged rock, a silent spectator. There is so much life within the ocean, a separate world that operates despite ours. It holds so many secrets within its heart, yet if you come too close, it can swallow you whole. This is a phenomenon that deserves our respect as well as our admiration. I feel a deep connection to it as I kick off my shoes, plunge into the cold water, and allow the waves to carry me wherever they please.
