"I thought you did not believe me?"
She crosses his arms, leaning on the tree.
"Well it is worth trying," I say, looking up to the big tree.
Summer nights are always warm.
Always.
"Why do you want to control your dreams that much?" She asks me, watching the fireflies lighting up the woods.
I realize that I can't ignore the weird feeling inside my heart. That exciting feeling..
"How do you know that this tree is something like you told me?"
Mia gets closer to me, looking in my eyes.
"I just know. Are you gonna try or not? You made me drive you here and instead of asking me questions you have to pray to this tree."
I would never, ever think that I would try something like this.
Which is fricking dumb and probably bullshit.
But these things can not be a coincidence.
Mia does not know my fucked up and weird dreams. I have never told about this to anyone.
How come there is a fricking tree that can give me what I really want?
How Mia knows it?
Does it really work?
Maybe it is just my fate..
"Come on Ethan, it is dark. We are in the middle of a forest. I am scared okay?"
"Okay I will pray. Is there any specific things that I should say?"
She turns off the flash light, leaving us in the pitch dark.
I hear crickets.
Beautiful summer night.
"Just be sincere. Show it how much you want it."
I nod, even though I can't see her.
I am going to try everything I can.
To see him.
To talk to him.
I need anwers.
I need to say goodbye to him.
I kneel down on my knees.
I stare at the top of the massive tree and the dancing branches along with the wind.
Summer night sky is filled with shining stars and they all look so bright.
I feel my heart fill with hope.
"Please.."
I close my eyes.
"Please let me talk to him. Let me hug him for the last time and let me say goodbye.."
