I woke the next morning with the morning sun glaring in my face. I glanced up at the clock. It was 8:45am. That just made me cringe, I was not ready to get out of bed yet, but my body was telling me otherwise. I turned away from the sun and Bridget was still sound asleep by my side. I curled up next to her and gently kissed her cheek trying not to wake her, but she stirred.

“Good morning,” she said groggily as she opened her eyes, “what time is it?”

“Good morning, darlin’. It’s quarter till 9,” I told her.

“Shit,” she said as she jumped up and started scurrying around.

“What’s wrong?” I asked with a confused look on my face.

“I should have been up over an hour ago. I have a lot of stuff to get done,” she told me as I sat up in the bed.

“Just calm down, babe. I’ll help you,” I tried to calm her down.

“I’m getting in the shower. Will you please go to my room and find me some clothes?” Bridget asked me completely ignoring my offer to help.

“I will,” I told her as I got out of the bed.

Bridget went to the bathroom and shut the door behind her and I walked across the hallway to her room as she asked. All the doors in the hallway were open with the exception of mine which meant everyone else was awake already. I stopped just as I entered Bridget’s bedroom door. I had no clue where clothes were or what she wanted. I went to the dresser and started going through every drawer looking for something for her to wear. I found nothing. These drawers were packed so tightly I couldn’t find anything and I couldn’t even get them shut after opening them. I went to the closet and found a pair of jeans hanging off the back of the closet door. I grabbed them and went back to my room. Since I couldn’t find her a shirt I grabbed her one of mine and took the clothes into the bathroom.

“Bridge, here’s you some clothes,” I told her as I sat them on the edge of the sink.

“What did you grab?” Bridget yelled at me.

“Jeans and one of my shirts,” I told her, “I couldn’t find one of yours.”

“Of all the clothes I have, you couldn’t find anything?” Bridget asked as she turned the shower off and opened the curtain, “Luke, please tell me it’s not one of your UGA shirts!”

“Why does that matter?” I asked her as dried off, wrapped a towel around her hair, and rolled her eyes at me.

She was so much more comfortable around me than she was yesterday. She didn’t care that I was standing there watching her as she got out of the shower. She grabbed her jeans and slipped them on. I realized at that moment I forgot to grab her underwear. Opps! She didn’t seem to mind so I didn’t say anything, but I forgot her bra too. She just grabbed the UGA shirt I had gotten her out of my dresser and headed out of the bathroom lightly brushing against my bare chest with her bare breasts. The brief skin to skin contact sent shivers up my spine. As hard as it was for me to move, I followed her. As I exited the bathroom, Bridget was putting on the bra she had worn yesterday. Before she had the chance to put on my UGA shirt I grabbed her and pulled her into a passionate kiss. I craved her touch so much I slightly started pushing her towards the bed without breaking our kiss. When she bumped into the bed, she broke from our kiss and looked up at me, before falling back on my bed and pulling me down on top of her.

About an hour later Bridget and I finally made it downstairs. Jason and Lee were sitting in the living room watching TV. We went into the kitchen where Momma, Jen, and Kasey cooking desserts for tomorrow. We went straight for the coffee pot, but before we made it two steps into the kitchen all kinds of ruckus broke out.
