CHAPTER XV THE LETTER

THE LETTER

Parang nabuhayan siya ng pag-asa ng sinabi yun ng mommy niya sa kanya. For all his life, iginugol niya ang oras niya sa pagtatrabaho believing na ito talaga ang gusto niyang gawin at ito ang magpapasaya sa kanya; siguro nga ay panahon na rin para sundin niya naman ang gusto ng puso niya. 

As Samuel was fixing his things para sa another journey niya in his quest for real love, may napansin siyang papel na naka tiklop. Nakasiksik ito sa backpack niya. He then remembered the letter from a girl that he met in one of his mall shows. It was more than a month pero hindi niya pa rin nababasa yun. So, he decided to read it.

The letter had an Eiffel Tower picture on it, as well as its envelope. Well, he loves Paris and he would want to go there one day.He opened it and was a bit impressed of what was written. Well, he always receives letters like this and gifts, too. But there was something different about this letter: the name of the girl who wrote the poem was written in reverse. 

Out of curiousity, Samuel tried to figure out what it was; until he remembered to use a mirror... and there, he figured out that the name of the girl who gave him the letter was MARIANNE GRACIA.

Sam thought that this girl could be the same with the girl whom he had fallen in love with. He got a bit shaky; nervous or excited maybe. And when he tried to search for some more hints about the girl, he found an email address written on the envelope.

He was really eager to know this girl and so, she immediately surfed the internet, searching for every Marianne Gracia he could find who would match with the real Marianne whom he really loved.

Until he found her. He got her address all information about her that he could find in the internet. He continued packing for his things; ready to chase her wherever she was. Now, he certainly know where to find her.

Marianne was trying to move on from the things that had made her happy but eventually broke her heart. But it's not that easy to forget the first and the only boy whom she loved.

Everytime she remembered the lines written in Samuel's letter, her heart felt like being torn into pieces. What she never knew was, it was not from Samuel; he knew nothing about the letter. It was Jazzy who wrote it and asked the hotel crew to give it to Marianne. Ginawa niya yun dahil gusto niya na si Marianne na mismo ang lumayo kay Samuel; dahil kilala niya si Samuel, hindi ito basta na lang susuko kung ano man ang ipinaglalaban niya... ika nga eh, matigas din ang ulo.

It was hard for her to forget everything and though she kept on forcing herself, she could never forget about him... everytime she hears his songs on the radio and see him on TV, and sees the necklace that he gave him... her hearts cries for his name. What could she do? She's in love.
