CHAPTER XIII OUR FIRST KISS

[OUR FIRST KISS]

MARIANNE'S POV

I couldn't believe what was happening. I never imagined na mangyayari ito. 

After the mountain-adventure, he became more protective to me. Ayaw niya akong nawawala sa paningin niya. Tuwing lalabas kami parati niyang hawak ang kamay ko, o kaya'y yakap-yakap ako. Parang hindi na niya alintana kung sino man ang makakilala sa kanya at makakita sa aming dalawa. Ang sarap pala ng inaalagaan ka ng taong mahal mo; ang sarap pa lang main-love.

I was fixing the couch where I used to sleep ng bigla siya pumasok sa kwarto.

'Sabi'ng sa bed ka na matulog, eh.'

Napalingon ako bigla, at nagulat ako ng nakita ko siyang naka-boxer shorts lang at naghahanap pa lang ng sando sa drawer niya. He looked so sexy! I stopped myself. Hindi ako pwedeng madala sa emotions ko, lalo na ngayon na I could really feel the sparks between us.

I continued fixing the couch.

'Ayoko nga. Dito na lang ako... ang laki kaya ng higaan mo, baka hindi ako makatulog diyan.'

Then, I was surprised when he sat on the couch, just in front of me.

'Eh 'di, dito na din ako matutulog?'

He was staring at me with those alluring eyes. I was melting inside, but I tried to resist the feeling.

'Shooo! tumayo ka d'yan! matutulog na 'ko! Dun ka na nga sa king-sized bed mo!'

But he didn't answer me, instead he pulled me in and started tickling me. We were like kids, screaming and laughing without hesitations.

Until, he stopped and stared through my eyes. Just then, I felt his weight on me. I could feel the intensity of his feeling as he stared at me; as if he was memorizing every inch of my face. Then, he kissed my forehead, down to the tip of my nose, until his lips reached mine. He slowly caressed my hair while he gently kissed my lips, as if I was so fragile. It was so unexpected. I couldn't believe that we kissed... it was our very first kiss. Kissing Samuel was frightfully-fascinating. It felt like we were kissing for nearly five minutes!

Then, tiningnan niya ako ulit and said:

'Let me... take care of you.'

He smiled at me and I smiled back. Then, he lied down on his side and wrapped his arms around me.

'Matutulog na 'ko.'

I uttered to break to silence.

''di ba sabi mo dito mo gustong matulog sa couch?' He asked and I just nodded. 'Eh di, matulog ka na, dito na din ako matutulog. 'Wag ng makulit.' Hindi na ako nakipagtalo pa. I closed my eyes and let myself drown in his scent as he wrapped his arms on me. Then, I felt him kissed the back of my neck which sent me shivers.
