Kabanata 1

I lied down in my bed. Sumasakit ang likod at pumipintig ang ulo ko sa pagod. I overworked myself again. Tinapos ko na ang mga gawain for the whole week kahit Tuesday palang. It is tiring but it always felt great whenever I accomplished my tasks early. I do have that habit and it is exhausting but inevitable. I love the feeling of rewarding myself after doing all my tasks all in once. I love the feeling that I was exhausted by it.

Gusto ko na sana matulog pero biglang pumasok sa isip ko 'yung pangalan ng lalaking 'yon. I forgot his name! Kaya hindi ako makakatulog dahil sakaniya. It is in the back of my mind. I heard it before. Why I can't recall it?

It is Landen? No, I'm sure na letter R 'yon. Randen?  I can't really remember his exact name! Lahat ng naiisip ko parang mali. Should I call Iza and ask his name? 

I should.  I don't want to waste my time thinking of that guy!

"Oh ano? Naglalaro ako! Valorant. Sali ka? Feel free to feel special kasi sinagot ko tawag mo while naglalaro ako-ay putanginang yon!" agad na bungad sa akin ni Iza. "Hayop!"

Napabuga ako ng hininga. "What's his name?"

"Huh? Sino?"

"Yung lalaki kanina ni Cass."

"AYON LANG?" rinig ko ang click click ng computer nito. "It's Raden La Ruel."

"Okay. Thanks!" 

"Ay putang-" binabaan ko na agad siya bago ko pa matikman ulit malulutong niyang mura.

I searched his name pero mukhang mahihirapan ako na hanapin kasi madaming poser at pare-parehas na may matataas na followers. I see that he is quite famous. Well, mukhang mabenta nga siya sa mga babae kaya hindi na ko dapat magtaka. Maybe I will find him in instagram?

I still can't find him! Last resort ko ang twitter. Pwede rin naman tiktok kung nagsasayaw siya or snapchat if nagsstreak? Uso naman 'yon ngayon.

"Ano ba 'tong iniisip ko!"

I continued searching for him pero wala talaga. Luckily, gumagana pa ang utak ko. Pumunta muna ako sa account ni Calie. Si Calie ang pinili ko dahil siya talaga ang may pinaka malaking social circle. Dinaig pa ata number of students sa university namin.

I searched his name in her following and I think fortune is with me now. I saw it.

I decided to sleep na lang talaga. Hanapin ko na lang siya personally bukas. Mas madaling mag-observe sa personal. I just want a background of him kaya hinahanap ko siya. Nothing more!

Bumangon ako ng mas late ngayon dahil mabilis lang naman ako maligo at hindi naman ako nag aayos. I just comb my hair once without any style and direction. I wore my thick graded glasses and spray my perfume, my addiction.

"Are you seriously going to end your high school life with that kind of look?"

"Good morning, Calie." I ignored what she just said.

Nothing special sa morning class namin. I'm attentive and taking notes with my Ipad. When  break came, inaya ko agad si Iza at Trisha sa canteen. I actually don't know kung bakit ako kasama sa kanilang dalawa. They are both gorgeous and smart. Ako nasalit ganon?

"Vin honey!" tawag ni Trisha sa boyfriend.

"Hon."

"Sabay ka samin ng lunch puro na lang kayo magkakasama lagi. Hindi pa naman tayo magkaklase." Trisha pout and make pa-cute face.
