The sky never fails to remind me of her.

Whenever my mind is in a state of chaos, I always look up and watch the clouds move. The sky gave me the same serenity as when I'd looked at her before.

A beautiful sky I look up to. A beautiful woman I fell in love with.

My love is different. I wanted to have a grip on her and never let go. I could bring her into the middle of a pristine forest just to show I can live in the wild as long as I'm with her. In the waves' towering crests and churning depths, I could even survive the rough waves if ever I got lost in the ocean with her in my mind to ignite my will to live.

This is the love I know, but I learn to love her in different ways. This time is the total opposite of what I can give. I let go of her grip, and she immediately drifted away.

I inked her into my skin, as she was already carved into my soul.

"Invited tayo! Pumunta tayo. Alam ko pupunta si Denise. Crush ko 'yon!"

"Lahat na lang crush mo, Von!" asik ni Vin sa kapatid.

"Ikaw nga isa lang crush mo, hindi ka pa mapansin!"

"Anong hindi? Sinagot na ko ni Trisha. You fucking ogle!"

Pumunta kami sa party ng isang kaibigan. Wala akong choice. Von wants to try his shot at her crush. Kung sana andoon din ang akin. Walang may alam ng kinahuhumalingan ko. Sa amin lahat, si Dom at Von ang pinakamabilis sa babae.

"Tangina mo naman, Rad! Wala ka na ngang ginagawa, ikaw pa rin lapitin!"

Nagtawanan kami nila Vin.

"No sweat si bro! Sila mismo lumalapit sayo. And where do you hide your balls tonight?"

"Fuck you, Von."

Maybe it's the alcohol. I thought it was her. It lasted for seconds. I know her too well from observing from afar. This isn't her. She doesn't walk like this. She walks with power and intimidation. This one walks with confidence and sultriness.

This is not the Alyaina I like. This woman just resembles her.

This is what I'm thinking while kissing her in the dark and in the bush in the backyard. I was just tempted. Huminto ako at pinigilan siya pero huli na dahil may sumuntok sa akin!

Everything happened too fast. I was fucking accused of being a groomer! I don't even know she is a freaking kid! She looks too mature for her age. She looks a bit like Alyaina. Natukso lang!

"Fucking..." naiusal ko nang malaman kung sino siya.

She's Alyaina's cousin! Fucking great, Rad, just fucking great!

Hindi ko pa nga sinusubukan mapalapit kay Alyaina tapos ngayon may ganito? I don't care if my name will be tainted but not with her knowledge!

Or maybe Vin is an angel sent by heaven to repair my hopelessness and despair.

Nakakasabay namin sila tuwing break at lunch! Kami pa ang magkatapat. Para tuloy kaming may date lagi sa isip ko. Hindi ko magawang iwasan na tingnan siya lagi. She looks cute. She looks pretty. Lahat na nakikita ko sakaniya.

Kaso lang ang sungit at suplada sa akin. Laging umiirap. Hindi kaya siya nahihilo?

I watched her play. Damn. She's really good.

Kaya lang ay masyado akong naiiksian sa suot niyang pangbaba? Nakakaakit din ang legs niya. Masusuntok ko siguro ang mangmamanyak sakaniya.

I liked her ever since. Napapansin ko na siya noong sumasali siya sa mga quizbee. Her name is always on top, always winning. Mukha siyang nerd.
