Chains of gold bind me,
To the darkness within.
Amid the dark I see a spark of light.
Alas, I cannot reach it.
For these chains of gold pulled taut,
Know nothing of my suffering.
I scream by myself.
A plea is heard in the heavens,
Melt away, oh Lord, these chains of gold.

Now this one sorta has two versions. I'm going to be updating the second one tomorrow.
The reason for that is because I kept hearing in my head "melt away oh Lord these chains of gold" and I just couldn't decide what CHAINSSSS 😫 there are too many chains bruh. So yeah I wrote two, kind of similar kind of not but anyway.
