By just the sight of you my poor heart hath been slain.
I feared this night's events by the dream I had of endless pain. How a delicate creature could attract woes I but of my dreams ask.
She is the sun, her light drowns this darkness I feel in my heart.Oh steal me from thy tender lips this brief kiss.
Allow me to hold thy pink cheeks and feel heavenly bliss.Fear, though thou light has masked, I still feel it creep on my soul.
Alas, it is man's weakness that I ask thee to make me whole. After thou is mine and I be thine let us make the vault our wedding bed.
Sweet, if this love demands a tragic end I would gladly let it lead to my death.
Hold my hand, love, and be Romeo's Juliet.~~
I tried to depict the tragedy of Romeo and Juliet as best I could. I hope y'all like this!!
Guys this is the last poem I'm publishing until inspiration hits me. Till then take care of yourselves, stay safe ❤️
Also I know I keep changing covers but I was trying to find the "right one" and I feel like this is it!! This cover is by ABrunetteGirl and I love it. It speaks volumes in its simplicity and that's what I want!
I would appreciate it if you guys vote, comment your thoughts and maybe share this? 💕✨
I promise an update on the 23rd, my birthday. But I might even update before that you never know 🤷🏻♀️
