Tale of Two Cities (4)

It hurts,
The thought of us.
It's cruel,
The thought of you.
The dreams of which you never knew.

Your hand on mine,
Your lips smile,
The sun's bright,
It's all a lie,
All a lie.

Maybe I'll cry over it,
And in the dark I'll sit,
Where tears hide and fear hits,
Of how I'll never know you again, though you do not admit.

Friends, we were once in a lifetime.
It ended... ended with these rhymes.
Three pages I wrote for you when we declined.
I hope your mention in my mind is not crime?
With your goodbye, my world I leave to the Divine.

True love does not exist.
Or maybe it did, forgotten in the mist.
Hopeless, my heart bleeds where yours kissed.
To write you a letter, I have to resist.
Lest you hate my thought which once you kept in your midst.

Halt! Reality is pain.
Let me have this dream in vain.
Your hand on mine,
Your lips smile,
The sun's bright,
We live in the wild,
Where there's only you and I.
You and I.
You and I.

I wrote this in hopes that I could let my emotions out because I can't cry rn 🤷🏻‍♀️ I had to write something so I did. It hurts like a bitch but I FUCKING CAN'T CRY. WHAT'S WRONG WITH ME?

I'm actually proud of this one unlike the last 'Tale of Two Cities'. Let me know your thoughts on this.

I hope you guys are doing well. xx
