I'll see you,
Tomorrow when you forget me.
All we did, fade our memories.
The laughs we had.
The joys we shared.
Into each other's arms we cried,
When things got tough,
And for more time did we beg.
This is goodbye today with a promise of maybe.
Maybe tomorrow I'll see you.
Maybe tomorrow I won't.
Remember me if you do.
Love me if you do.
I'll see you.
I'll see you.
Tomorrow, the day after, a month later, never... I'll see you.***
I've never been good with "goodbyes". Even the smallest goodbye like leaving a city I only visited for two days or reading a book that I finished in a day, it's hard. It's really hard especially when that book is written in such a way that makes you feel... just feel, you know? I wrote this last night and man did I cry! Plus I'm extra emotional cause I'm turning 18 soon 😭 ION WANNA BE OLD MAN! This poem was inspired by The Artist and The Dancer by nikki20038 .
