Is it of misfortune that I still adore thee?
Despite thy icy response towards poor me!
Have not I proved to be worthy of kind?
Respect you say you do but I do not see!
Love is a mistake a lone soul makes.
Is that why you have left me by the Lake?
For was I not clear when I said?
I will love but to thee it will be not led.
I will be discreet in my adoration of you.
Sight thee from yonder yet still be within thy hue.
So why, Lord why! Do you punish such an honest soul!
Did I ever do anything except that to want you whole.
In health and in life because you have lost hope.
Hope, I desire to restore in your being, most certainly so.
Yet our cities divide us thus we remain far.
One where the waves scream and one where farms remain beneath stars.
Cities I talk of, my lord, forgive.
I meant you divide us with your mind where I... I never lived.
