These whispers are faint prayers.
Don't touch me,
Don't touch me.

It's too much, the weight of your hands.
It's too much, the rise of your chest.
It's too much, the fall of your breath on my face.

This monstrosity I did not ask for.
I was helpless,
I was alone.
Isn't God supposed to help us?

Yet I struggled under you without a light.
You broke my innocent smile bright.
The rose of a soul inside me has withered.
It's gone, it's dark, it's night.

Sleep,
Sleep child, echoes my mind.
My eyes do I close to your body on mine.

Don't touch me,
Don't touch me.
This monstrosity I did not ask for,
This monstrosity do I get despite my cries.
