This lovers' cave echoes thy voice as a sweet melody.
This heart looks to find in thee a lover, so keen.
Be it for a day or two it wants thy heart to be mine.
As long as we stay in this cave let our hearts combine.
My lover out leave your betrayals and take pleasure in this time.
Lay on me now and let me bear thy burden I find divine.
Betrayals you pick back up out we go, shatter this heart and to hatred I cross this line.
For promises made inside I thought to be true and fine.
In this real world we step back I will let thy promises thou define.
Define thee not but I, hence let me drown in these sorrows of my foolish heart's lies.

Another poem inspired by Romeo and Juliet.
Surprisingly this is about a book ( I ofc changed it to be about two people) but I was sitting and I thought what the hell am I going to do after I finish this book, hence the book's "lies", we just find solace in reading a book for what a day or two and then it's gone 🥺🤪
Also I might be going MIA for a while.
Anyway don't forget to vote, comment and share 💕
