4: Camp Sawi

Chapter 4

"Thanks Brie! See you again soon!" I bid my goodbye to my bestfriend before I head my way home.

"Ingat ka tol! See ya!" she said before closing the gates of their home.

"Hays miss ko na agad siya." I whispered in the air.

When we are on our 10th grade, we always have each other's company. You will never be alone. Even when you go to the restroom, in the canteen , and even going to aid our teacher's request, we were never alone. Camp Sawi is the best memory that I have from junior high school that I will treasure the most.

It's kinda hard to adapt to a new environment specially without the people you are with for years. New environment means new people to meet. They don't know you and you don't know them so I think it's a long process knowing each other. But somehow I know how to get along with my new classmates.

I can't help but to think how my life can be easier being with the people I love the most. Having Cullen with me when I go to school and go back home means a lot. He always go with me whenever I have to go somewhere then take me home after.

Curlyn is always my selfie buddy. I always admire her beauty even though she's a year younger than me. She's the fashionista and kikay of our group. She's also the most clingy in Camp Sawi (aside from me). 'Hays I miss her hugs so much.'

While Briella is my human diary. She is my shoulder's to cry on. She's gives me comfort everytime I don't know what to do anymore. We always share problems with each other even how big or small it is.

I always look forward going to school because of them. I'm always excited to see them and be with them. But it's not the same anymore. We accepted our fate that maybe we have to grow separate ways. But growing doesn't mean departing from the people you cherish. We always compromise for each other. Distance will never be a hindrance for our friendship to be stronger.

After I got home from Briella's house we ate dinner and washed the dishes. I decided to take shower because it's my sister's turn to wash the dishes.

After taking a shower I brushed my teeth and took my clothes from the drawer. I put on my furry pink pajamas and a thin white v neck shirt. I climbed upstairs to have a better connection. I am registered to Go Surf 50 because my mom don't want to sign up for a Wifi.

"Hays ang adik kasi ni kuya sa computer eh. Mas madali pag may wifi argh!" I said as I reached our terrace.

As I open my phone, I turned on my mobile data and then the notifications kept bursting.

Well, I rarely use my phone whenever I'm with Briella. We like to have a quality time together without using our phones. Unless, Curlyn and Cullen is online so we're joining them for a group video chat.

I checked my phone and saw the time, it was 8:30 already. Maybe they are done taking the quiz?

Yep I was right they're just talking about having their dinner. These internet friends will never forget to ask you if you have eaten already. Trust me it's a conversation starter HAHAHAHA.
