6: Comfort

Chapter 6

It was our last subject for this day and I still feel down about the scores that I got. Thankfully I passed the other subjects so I guess I won't have an average below 85. I just hope that my General Mathematics will fall just 85.

"Listen up Jericho! We'll be having another lesson for tomorrow. Be ready okay?" Our teacher said before fixing her things. It's almost time so maybe our class will be dismissed.

"Ma'am about saan po yung lesson?" that's JV. Advance reading is life eh? He's really studious.

"Ah tomorrow nyo na malalaman. Basta bring your fillers or notebooks so you can take down notes " our teacher reminded us again.

"Okay goodbye Jericho!" our teacher bid her goodbye before leaving our classroom.

"Cleaners maiwan!" I heard our adviser from the door of our classroom. She is monitoring our class cleaners because some of them just run away to go home early.

I saw Christine walking towards my seat. "Uy tara na pre? Uwi na tayo." she said pointing at the door where ate Tina is leaning to.

"Okay sige tara na." I said trying to sound cheerful.

"Uwi na kayo?" Alexis asked when he saw us leaving the room.

"Yep. Bye! Ingat kayo!" I said before leaving the room following Christine.

"Tara na? Okay na kayo?" ate Tina asked us.

"Tara uwi na tayo gusto ko na magpahinga." Tin answered ate Tina before leading the way towards the staircase.

"Napakatamlay mo naman ineng!" ate Tina tried to joke around.

I just gave her a small smile trying to tell her that I'm fine.

"Proben muna tayo dali libre ko!" she said in a cheerful tone. That's just her comforting me.

Cristina Echavez is a grade 12 STEM student. She is so nice and kind to everyone. We're lucky to be close to her. She is someone that will do anything just to make you happy. She puts a lot of effort on the people around her. She will never open her problems to you if she knows you also have a problem. I must protect her at all cost.

"Yes naman! Tara!" tin said happily hopping towards the corner.

"Sige na kuha na kayo." ate Tina said.

"Di mo naman need gawin to eh hays. Thank you." I replied and gave her a hug.

"Korni naman kain na HAHAHAHA." she said while laughing.

I got 3 sticks of proben and tin decided to buy softdrinks. Balak niya pa nga ako ilibre pero sabi ko wag na may pera pa naman ako.

Even in just a short period of time, I forgot why I'm sad because of these two. We walk happily on our way to the street where we have to wait for the jeep.

We're still laughing from the topic thatbwe are talking about when suddenly we saw a jeepney ariving so we have to go.

"Bye ate Tina! Thank you." I said and gave her a hug.

"Bye ate!" Tin said doing the same.

"Bye! Ingat kayo ha!" ate Tina said while waving her hand.
