The mid 50's lady, completely introduced exactly the moment our hands met. Siya rin ang unang kumalas sa magkahawak namin na kamay, hindi na pinatagal kahit ilang segundo man lang.

Her voice was very soft. Her moves were all composed and gentle. As if she's taking her own time because she owned it.
Walang dudang ito nga ang nanay ni Calvin. From her deep-set eyes, familiar narrowed nose and reddish lips, you can really say that she's the only mother of Fellizar.
Kaya pala para akong nakatitig at nakaharap sa kaisa-isahang pamilyar na pagmumukha kanina pa!

"I guess just one of my advantages here Tita," sabay sulyap sakin ni Tinea, hindi nawawala ang ngiti na para bang may nakakatuwa talaga dito.
Paano ba sila nagkakilala? At bakit gusto akong kausapin ni Atty na nanay pala ni Calvin? It must be about his son and oh my god! Is she here to talk about it? Probably! I was the reason why her son was got detained...

Napasimsim si Tinea sa order niyang avocado shake samantalang hinahalo naman ni Attorney ang tea niya.
Tanging tunog lang ng kutsarita ang nagpapaingay sa mesa namin. Heck, I couldn't even think straight because of these two person infront of me.
"Uh-" hindi ako makasangit. Napalunok ako.
"How's your flight by the way?" si Attorney pagkatapos uminom sa tea at pinagtuonan ng pansin ang isang babaeng katabi niya.
Nanatili naman akong parang tangang pabalik balik lang ang tingin sa kanila. Nakikinig kahit walang maintindihan.
"It was good, Tita. Though we've catch a delayed flight. Maulan-ulan kasi sa Visayas kaninang hapon."
"You've mentioned that your Grandpa already came with you this time? Here in Manila?"
"Yes Tita. He heard about what happened so..." Tinea trailed off.
"Tell your Grandpa that we're very sorry. Naalintana pa tuloy ang pagbisita ng anak ko..."
