*1 Week Later*

"Daniel Ricciardo!" I yelled as I ran through the chateau. "Carlos Sainz!" I yelled. I heard the footsteps of the two drivers take off running from the kitchen.

"Get back here! I'm not going to hurt you!" I yelled and the other drivers started laughing. "Yeah right." Max muttered as I continued my pursuit. Finally after running around the front lawn, I finally had the trapped in the kitchen "So, you need my signature?" I asked Carlos and he nodded. "See...the thing is I was going to ask you, but then the wedding and everything..." he trailed off when he saw the murderous look of rage on my face. "Give me the paper!" I exclaimed and Carlos ran off to find the contract papers. I turned to my next victim, Daniel.

"You're headed to McLaren?" I asked and he nodded slightly. "Good for you! Renault was never your right spot." I grinned.

"You're not mad?" he asked.

"Of course not!" I exclaimed, "While I would have loved to see you in red, I will always support where ever you go." I explained and Daniel gave me a big hug. "That means a lot." He whispered. "Always for you buddy." I smiled and let go. "So what are you going to do this season with your Formula 1 money?" Carlos asked. "Well, the funding promised to Ferrari ends in this year, but I have every intention of renewing sponsorship." I replied. "Yes!" he exclaimed. Suddenly the calm air was shattered by the sound of glass and other items breaking upstairs. "What the hell..."I trailed off as I saw Charles standing in the living room.

"Nice to see you after a week of hiding!" I called to him.

"Just shut up! I don't need you and your perfect life." He slurred and Daniel started to get up, but I sat him back in his chair since Charles was extremely drunk

"Let it go, he doesn't mean it." I whispered to Daniel. Charles just sat on the couch with a defeated look on his face and I know I like to help people, but this beyond my abilities right now.

Suddenly I jumped up, deciding to lie down on the front lawn of my home in the warm sun and soon other people joined me on the soft grass. A slight breeze blew in the warm air, giving sound to the wind chimes and it was the perfect moment. My thought wandered to Lewis suddenly. How could I just lose a friend like that?

"I fucking trusted you!" I cried out, shaking everyone from their restful state.

"Then do something about it!" Kimi snapped at me and I opened my mouth to send a retort, but he never gave me the chance. "Listen up! I'm tired of you moping around like some said depressed rain cloud! " Kimi exclaimed. I jumped up and looked down at Kimi who was chilling a few feet away from me and then up at the sky. "You're right." I muttered. "I'm going to go to Los Angeles." I stated and walked back toward the house with Romeo and Charles in tow. What I didn't realize was leaving would be my biggest mistake.

June 27/ A month Later

"It is with a heavy heart that we are all here today. I never thought I would be burying one of the closest people in my life, especially at such a young age. I don't really have enough words to express how much pain and sorrow I am feeling right now. So thank you all for attending this funeral and have a wonderful day." I stated to the crowd of people in Monte Carlo mourning for the loss of one of their own. I walked off the stage and Max wrapped me in a big hug.

"I'm going to miss those green eyes that were always there for me." I whispered. Max squeezed me gently, "He'll always be with you." Max whispered and placed a friendly kiss on my temple.

I watched as other Drivers, Friends, and Family talked with each other, but all I could do was stare at the grave.

"I'm so sorry. We should have never gotten on the plane." I whispered and walked away, the cold stone leaving a chill in my body with the words engraved that would forever haunt me. "Here lies a loving, Brother,Son, and Friend....

A/N I hope you enjoyed! I took a small break, but I am back! Someone died and they are from Monaco...I wonder who it could be?

*Also on a more solemn note, today in America we just broke a record that I wish we didn't have to break. So please stay safe and spend a little extra time with loved ones ❤️
