His Obsession
Chapter 5
Xavier
Taking the gun into my hands once more as all I see is red and wanting nothing more than to have his brain splattered on the wall.
"Choose your next words carefully or I will not hesitate to shoot you down, you know as well as I do that I will fucking do it!" I say to him in a dark warning tone.
The anger inside me is over powering but if there is one thing that I'm good at and that is being in control... what the hell am I thinking?
The anger controls me. "Xavier, don't forget who I am" He says to me but he doesn't show the slightest amount of fear.
"I know exactly who you are Alex and you will tell me here and now, is she dead?" I ask him. The question is fucking simple and if he weren't such a dick he would just answer me.
The thought of her dead brings me emotions that I'd rather not feel but I can't help it. I can't help these feelings. I am Xavier Knight, I should not have feelings beside murderous ones. "We found her but someone else came before us" He begins.
Almost growling, my finger is on the trigger, close to ending his life here and now. Mistakes aren't tolerated and my men have made the worst one.
"As she was trying to get away from them, and shooting some of them down, she got into a car to drive off until she was shot and she stopped breathing and there was no pulse" He says.
I pull the trigger with anger. He's lucky the bullet goes beside his head, yet not once does he flinch nor does he duck to get away from the gun or even put his fucking hands up.
"Where is she!?" I ask with anger laced in my voice and he better watch what he says next for I am seconds away from ending his life here and now.
Only now I see the fear inside his eyes. Good. He's afraid of me and he should be. He might be my second in command but that doesn't mean that I won't kill him because the two of us know that I will do it and feel no remorse for it.
"They took her body" He answers as he looks down to the ground. "Kill me if you have to but if you spare me, I will do whatever it takes to get her body back to you, to give her a proper burial" He says and once again I pull the trigger, this time into his stomach.
Evangeline
Slowly opening my eyes to see a shadow over me, but a blurry shadow. Pain erupts through my whole body as I start to see clearly, I let out a gasp. "Welcome home... daughter!"
