Gasp what is this?! A new chapter! It couldn't be! But it is!

Peridot's Pov
It's been a few weeks since me and Lapis got back together. She got out of the hospital and went back to Beach City, but I miss her terribly. We call each other as much as possible, I love hearing her voice but it just isn't enough sometimes. I miss the color of her ocean eyes, the touch ot her skin, her silky voice, and her lips. I won't get into details, but let's just say Lapis put all the others to shame. Although life at campus is fun and exciting, I miss home. So I'm going to go see her, but it's going to be a surprise. I just hope nothing goes bad, again.

Lapis' POV
"Crap crap crap! Steven call 9-1-1 now!"
"What's their number???" I snatched the phone out of his hands and dialed 9-1-1.
"Hello, yes ma'am my kitchen is on fire. I live at 123 Random Street." I hung up the phone frantically looking for the fire extinguisher.
"I got some water!" I quickly ran over to Steven to stop him from putting out a spreading grease fire. I run out the house as fast as I could
"This is the last time I let you bake cookies." I put him down at the curb, and wait for a fire truck.
"Are you mad at me..." I looked down at him, and kissed his forehead gently.
"No, I could never be mad at you buddy." he beamed me a smile and giggled. Sweet kid, but should stick to his sushi rolls instead.

    I cannot catch a break since I came back from my visit. School has been hell because I keep seeing Pearl around, and I feel like she's spreading rumors about me. I haven't been home that often, I just sleep at Peri's house. Her robinoids keep me company, but 24 is kind of a creep. It's like I can feel it watching me, scanning me, listening to me. The others are pretty cool though, just 24 really freaks me out!

Peridot's POV
The car drive is long, but worth it. I can't wait to see the look on her face when she sees me.

Lapis' POV
"Let me scan!" The round robot screeched as it chases me around the room
"I just wanted Ice cream!" I cry.

Peridot's POV
I know I haven't been gone for long but I feel like this place has changed, or maybe I'm seeing it through new eyes. I'm much different from when I left, and I'm glad. The houses I used to pass by everyday all seem so new to me, it feels amazing to be back.
    I pull out into my driveway, looking like Lapis is here. Perfect. I get out of the car and walk towards my front door, when I hear someone screaming. Lapis? I quickly open the door to be greeted by a Lapis screaming running away from 24. I guess he never got over wanting to scan her, I gotta fix that. Lapis notices me when I shut the door behind me, and starts darting towards me. She jumps up into my arms and I catch her, she smiles brightly.
    "Hi."
    "Hey" She painted heavily as she wrapped her arms around my neck.
    "What's going on here?"
    "Oh you know a friendly game of tag."

Robinoid 24's POV
Scan. scan. Measurements. Must scan. MEASUREMENTS!!!!!

Peridot's POV
    "Want to have some ice cream and watch a movie?"
    "Only if you deactivate it." I lightly chuckled as she finally caught her breath.
    "24 shut down." the robinoid shut down and made a loud clink sound against the floor.
    "Thank you." She gently kisses my lips as I put her down.
    "Ready for some ice cream?"
    "Hell yeah I am!"
I missed you so much.

Lapis' POV
