He drove her home in his new car when the sun slowly started descending, the orange light the sun casted made everywhere look gloomy and calm. The evening breeze ruffled her hair as he drove to her house.
"Thanks for today"she said calmly, when he stopped in front of her house and started unbuckling her seat belt.
"Don't mention, you were having a lot of fun today, it was so delighting"he said staring at her.
She nodded, she had had a great day but was really exhausted. "I should go but is this how you win your girls over, like take them out on a date, buy them stuffed animals and cold brain freezing ice-cream"she said.
He laughed.
"No, you are the first. My girls we just kind of hook up with other groups, like a group outing or something"he said
"Umm, sounds cool, but why me"she said looking at him.
"I don't know, I just felt the urge to do so, that's what friends do right" he said staring deep into her eyes.
Something told her to look away but she didn't, she couldn't, she just kept on staring deep into his beautiful brown eyes.
His phone rang then, ruining the moment. Wait what moment, she asked herself.
"Damn" he cursed and answered the phone. "Hey babe, how was the shoot" he said, then she felt pain slice through her heart. It was Lisa his girlfriend, what had she been thinking.
"Alright, see you tomorrow, yeah love you too" he said and ended the call. "You were saying" he said looking at her again as he dropped his phone.
"Ehmm, this car is sick, I mean look at all these chairs, I can just sink_"
"Amy"he said
"Okay I get it, goodnight"she said and slipped out of the car.
He poked his head out of the driver's window. "See you on Monday, and don't go too far, things are just starting to get interesting"he said, she just frowned in confusion.
He smiled. "Sweet dreams" he said and drove off. She just stared at his moving car, trying to get what he meant.
"Daniel, you are one big mystery to unravel"she said and opened their waist length gate, then she went it.

"Dinner is in the kitchen just warm it up"her mum called from out from the living room as she came into the house.
"Am not hungry"Amy said as she walked pass her mum, heading to her room.
"How was it" her mum asked standing up from the couch she sat on.
"Am really tired and don't wanna talk about it"she said and climbed up the stairs leading to her room.
"From what I see, I can say it went we"her mum continued.
Amy stopped and look at her mother. "You don't ever quit, do you?"she said. Her mum smiled looking at the bags she held.
"Oh this"Amy said raising up the bags she held. "Something I won for Zake"she added. Her mum waited raising her eyebrows.
"Okay fine, he bought me a small gift to show how grateful he was"Amy said and continued up the stairs.
"Amy" her mum called out softly
"What"she growled.
"Come here baby, I wanna talk to you" her mum said.
She groaned.
"I will be quick, I know you are tired, I promise honey"her mum pushed.
"Okay, make it snappy"she said coming down from the stairs, then she took a seat. Her mum say beside her.
"Amy honey, are you alright" her mum asked.
"Yeah, am cool"
"How do you feel" her mum said looking at her. She turned to face her mum.
"About what"she said.
"This Daniel, I think you like him, I saw it in your eyes when he came this morning, you may try to deny it but honey I_"
"Yeah, I like him mum but what next, he has tons of girlfriend, do you know what he does to them, he dates them for like a week and ditch them. He is a player mum, being friends with him is enough at least he won't get break my heart"she snapped with tears clouding her eyes.
"Am sorry honey, but it will rip your heart when you see him with other girls and he just introduces you as a friend, Amy it will kill you" her mum said.
"I will cope"she said looking away, trying to stop the tears that threatened to fall.
"I think is best if you tell him how you feel, tell him of your true feelings"her mum said.
She chuckled. "Have you met that guy, he personally told me not to fall for him, that he doesn't want to break my heart and also today when I asked him why he did all that for me he said that it was what friends do, friends mum, friends can you imagine" she said sniffling back tears.
"Come here baby"her mum said and pulled her into her arms, hugging her tightly to her body. "If Daniel is for you, he will come to you, I don't know when you started having feelings for him but am sure everything will be alright, he will make things right" her mum whispered patting her back softly. Amy nodded as tears choked her.
"Thanks mum"she whispered and pulled back to look at her mum. Her mum smiled.
"Go and get some sleep honey" her mum said, she slowly stood up and took the stairs again.
"I love you" her mum said to her.
She turned.
"I know" she said headed to her room. She exhaled slowly when she entered and shut the door behind her.
Yes she like Daniel, maybe just only as a friend, she wasn't sure but she will make sure she wouldn't fall in love with him.
She said to herself and collapsed on her bed.
