"Please just take him Phee," Mike pleaded with me as I stood at my front door wrapped in my dressing gown. It was... one a.m in the morning. And Mike was begging for me to take Billie for the night.
"No way, I'm not dealing with him,"
"Please! Your mom isn't even home tonight!"
"You got him drunk!"
"Please! I'm begging you, he's probably throwing up in my truck right now as we speak I have so much more to deal with the drunk Billie. And he's been asking to see you all night." Mike groaned.
"He has?"
"Yes!" He nodded fast, his eyes lit up at the chance to leave Billie with me, "Yes he has! So will you take him?"
"Alright fine," I rolled my eyes, Mike cheered to himself as he headed back up my garden and overt to his truck. He opened the car door and dragged a very intoxicated Billie joe out of it. Billie staggered up the garden as Mike helped him, and once his eyes landed on me. The innocence with in him shone through.
"Phee!" He smiled happily as he stumbled over and hugged me, Mike mouthed the words thank you as I kept my arms around Billie before I pulled him back.
Mike thanked me one more time before he quickly ran back into his truck and drove away and I shut the front door.
"Come on Armstrong," I sighed as I grabbed his arm keeping him steady.
"What are we gonna do?" He slurred still smiling.
"I think I'll go make you a cup of coffee," I whispered slowly placing him down on the sofa. He dropped on to it and nodded as I went into the kitchen.
After making his coffee I placed it on the table in front of the sofa as I sat myself next to him as he slouched down. He lazily rested his head on my shoulder and looked up at me like a child. I looked down at his electric green eyes.
"What?" I asked him.
"You're so beautiful,"
"What? Shut up! No I'm not," I laughed embarrassed as I shoved him off me.
"You are," he grinned.
"Drink your coffee,"
"Yes ma'am." He replied as he brought himself up from leaning back on the sofa and taking a chug of his coffee.
I loved drunk billie joe, he was so talkative, hyper and honest. And yet he never remembered a thing the next day.
"Mike said you was asking to see me all night," I brought up to him as he looked over at me.
"Course I was- hiccup -I missed you,"
"You've drank your coffee too fast," I giggled. "You've got hiccups,"
"I know, my bad,"
He was the cutest thing ever, the way he just sat and smiled and absolutely nothing and absolutely everything.
"Well, come on," I breathed out as I pushed myself off the sofa and got to my feet. "Let's go up to bed,"
"Hiccup- okay,"
I pulled him up with his hand as he drank his last bit of coffee. I helped him up the stairs incase he fell from how bad his balance at the moment was and we crept through the hallway and past Toms bedroom door in an attempt not to wake him up. Once we reached my room, I slowly opened the door as Billie basically collapsed on to my bed while I shut it.
I looked at him laughing slightly to myself. "You idiot," I spoke to him. "Get up,"
"Why," he whined. "I'm comfyyy!"
