"Are you ready?" Billie asked me, walking out of his bathroom pulling a shirt over his head.
I smiled at him. I had been ready for this moment since I found out who Ella was and since then, this day was the day I hoped for. That may sound bad... since jealousy is a sin. But I do it as a saint... so who cares? But I can't tell him this moment had already played in my head as a hopeful thought of mine. So for now, I just kept it to a: "Ready if you are Beej,"
He shot me back a toothy grin. "I'm ready if you are,"
"Well, I'm ready if you are," I repeated.
"I'm ready, are you ready?"
"I'm ready if you're ready,"
"I'm ready,"
"Then I'm ready,"
"Then let's go!" He announced loudly and happily as he pulled me up from my seat by my hand.
He was so cheerful and happy to say he was suppose to be dumping his cheating girlfriend today. Which I found odd, but at the same time I was grateful to have his joyfulness back in my life.
I missed how hyperactive he got when he was happy or excited, pulling me around I could hardly keep up with him.
We went down his stairs pretty fast, I nearly fell twice being dragged still by my hand. He quickly shouted goodbye to his mom as we pulled the both of us out the door and shut it.
"Now we go to Ellas." He nodded letting go off me. We began to start our walk, officially on the way to confront and dump her. So perfect... it even ryhmes.
As we walked I wondered about a lot of things, specifically Mike and Tre. They had been there for me and angry at Billie about what had happened ever since the whole scenario started. They checked up on me, tried cheering me up, listened to me depress everything even when they didn't want to.
They had no clue Billie was blackmailed, lied to or cheated on. They just still believed he was a complete asshole. Just like I had.
"Did you tell Mike and Tre?" I asked him, looking over at him as we made our way to Ellas. I following him since he knew the way and I obviously didn't.
He looked over at me a little confused. "Tell them what?"
"Well.... y'know.... everything. Did you tell them everything? Are they up to date? Do they know what's been going on like I do?"
He shook his head after understanding me. "I didn't have time,"
"Didn't you?"
"I found Tre at the party, I asked him where you was when I was trying to find you. He was mad at me and wouldn't even tell me at first, but I told him there was a reason for everything and I could explain in time,"
"I'm sure they'll understand though, y'know... as I did,"
"I don't know," he muttered nervously as he pushed a hand through his blue hair, breaking apart the strands. "I hope so, I mean... I don't wanna lose them,"
"You're not gonna lose them they'll understand, trust me. Now how far away are we from Ella's house?" I asked looking around the street we was on which I didn't recognize. The houses on this street stood tall, fancy houses. Fancier houses then mine and Billies. I can only assume Ella's house was just as snobby as she and her attitude was.
"Just a bit more up this street," he said to me pointing up the street.
I grunted as I stopped walking. "My legs hurts," I complained in a whiny voice.
