"You really think we can do this? What if they scream and deafen us?" I asked him, standing at my own front door holding Billie's hand.

"It's not even official it'll be fine,"

"... are we gonna do that?"

"Wow hold up, I still gotta find the courage to ask you," He chuckled.

"Well will-" I was cut off as the front door opened and I dropped Billie's hand letting him go nervously as my mom looked at the both of us.

"What are you two idiots doing waiting out here in the cold- oh you weren't arguing was you?"

"No, no we're okay now." I sighed to my mom walking into the house as Billie followed.

I took off my coat as I hung it up on the rack. Billie too hanging his up before we were greeted by Ollie in the kitchen.

"You both aren't arguing?"

"No mom, we sorted it out," Billie sighed.

"Oh, how brilliant! It's about time!"

He exhaled loudly as I giggled slightly walking out the kitchen into the dining room where Tom was setting up the plates and cutlery. "You put the knives and forks on the wrong side you nimrod," I commented as I watched him scramble around the table stressing out.

He looked up at me shooting arrows with his stare as I quickly stopped laughing and shut my mouth.

"Yeah thanks for leaving me in there with your mom and mine." Billie said as he walked behind me slinging an arm around my shoulder. "Tom you put the knife and forks on the-"

"-Yes I've been told!"

"Jeez.... okay dude- what's wrong with you?" Billie asked taking a notch down as I felt his arm drop off of my shoulder.

"Nothing okay!? Nothing," he took in a deep breath standing up straight. "Nothing,"

"Did she not call you back?" Billie asked raising an eyebrow.

"No!"

"Who?" I questioned looking over at Billie.

"Plane girl,"

"Ahhh,"

"I just- I don't understand," Tom went on as I looked back over at him. "She seemed... really into me, y'know? I thought there was something there and then she just- she doesn't call me back,"

"You'll find someone else," Billie smiled positively to him.

"Easy for you to say," Tom mumbled as he carried on setting the knives and forks the wrong way around.

Billie looked at me, surprised expression. "What's that suppose to mean?"

"You've had your someone around you your whole life." He answered still in a mumbling tone as he walked out of the dining room.

I looked over at Billie knitting my eyebrows together as he pulled the same face. "What the fuck does that mean?" Billie asked me.

"He's just angry,"

"Oh it's so nice to not have you both screaming at each other over the table," Ollie laughed slightly before putting her fork full of food in her mouth.

I laughed feeling a little guilty of that night. Just sorta getting Mike to pick me up and leaving. "Yeah, I'm sorry for leaving. I was just angry,"

"You will be," my mom muttered carrying on with her dinner.

"Finished," Billie announced as he put his knife and fork on his empty plate, smiling slightly with a childish grin.
