"Shut up shut up shut up!" I groaned covering my ears as I let my head drop and meet with the plane window.
"All I'm saying is if we die I'm going to seriously haunt some fucking people," Billie mumbled to himself with his arms crossed sat beside me. He still hasn't exactly properly looked at me, only short glances when he's needed to. But at least we haven't fallen out any more.
"We aren't gonna die!"
"If I die it counts as a rock and roll tragedy because I'm in a band."
"But you won't die,"
"I'm just saying if I do then-"
"- Uhg!" I cut him off groaning again. He obviously carried on talking as I managed to zone him out and just stare out the plane window.
It feels so weird to look down on the earth this way. Everything from up here is barely even anything. The fields and the cities seem to morph with each other. But in reality, there are hundreds or even at a push thousands of people down there currently going through and seeing different things than me right now.
"You're not even listening anymore," He mumbled out loud realising I wasn't paying him any attention.
"Because You're talking shit," I replied not moving my gaze from down below.
"I'm not talking shit- I'm talking sense,"
"You never talk sense. Please just go to sleep or something?"
"I'm not tired though,"
"Please just go to sleep or- or listen to music or something to shut you up," I growled to him in an agitated mood. He did suddenly seem taken back from the sudden attitude I was giving him.
"What's your problem?"
I ignored him as I plugged in my earphones and rested my head back on the headrest of the aeroplane seat. Whatever he was saying now, was being drowned out by music. That is even if he's saying anything right now.
After a moment of two, I felt the ear phone in the ear closest to Billie be pulled out. I looked over at him confused and annoyed, but he didn't notice my look as his eyes gazed forward to the seat in front of him as he took the ear bud and put it into his ear closest to me. After that, he rested his head gently on my shoulder and closed his eyes.
I looked down at him confused. But obviously, his eyes were closed so he couldn't tell.
Sometimes he's so unbelievably annoying you just want to crash the plane. And other times when he's peaceful you don't so much. Instead, you remember why your heart chose him.
I smiled looking at him as my shoulder supported his head before resting mine on top of his head and also closing my eyes.
I guess it's best to enjoy the little moments.
~
We made our way into the hotel room, we as in Tom, Billie and I. As mine and Billies mom had a separate hotel room that was across the hall from us which was quite convenient.
We began to unpack as we already decided who's having what bed, and I made it clear I wanted the one next to the window. Which was, in fact, the one I obviously got.
"She was definitely into me," Tom proudly boasted shoving another item of clothing into his draws.
"Did you get her digits?" Billie asked doing the same with his clothes, packing them into the separate draws next to his hotel bed.
"Course I did,"
"Y'know just cause you get sat next to a pretty girl on a plane doesn't mean it's fate Tom," I rolled my eyes sitting on my bed. I had already shoved my clothes in. I'll admit, not very tidily. But that'll do.
