"Reign, what's my schedule today?"
I took off my wet blazer because of that freaking rain. I was so pissed that I can't even greet my employees a while ago. I hate the rain!
"Good morning po, Ms. Solly." My secretary came near holding her tablet with my schedules for today,
"You have a photoshoot po mamayang 2PM sa BGC for the clothing line. 4PM naman po ay darating po dito ang press for an interview po." I sat on my swiveling chair while trying to dry my wet hair. I pursed my lips when I saw the pile of papers beside me.
"And also ma'am, mamaya po may dinner meeting po kayo para sa bagong branch building po ng restaurant. Pinapasabi po pala ni Architect Cortez na hindi po siya ang makikipagmeeting sa inyo mamaya dahil may emergency daw po siya. Si Architect Vil-"
Then I cutted her off, "Okay, okay I get it. Can you get me a coffee? I'm cold." I asked with my eyes closed.
"Yes, Ms. Solly."
Nakakastress! Dapat ay nasa bundok ako ngayon at nagrerelax, bwiset na ulan kasi na 'yan at hindi kami natuloy mag hiking! Aish! Pilit kong tinapos ang pagpirma sa mga papeles na nasa harap ko nang ilapag ni Reign ang kape sa mesa ko.
"Here, ma'am." I heard Reign said as she put my coffee in the table.
"Thanks." I sipped a bit, and feel kinda relax.
"Ms. Solly, pinapatanong po pala ni Mr. de Vega kung ayos na daw po ba yung mga papers na pinapapirmahan niya po?" She asked.
Tinuro ko sa kaniya ang naka compile na mga papeles sa gilid ko while slowly drinking my coffee, andgave her a thumbs up. She went out carrying a bunch of papers. I still have work to do. Buti na lang pala at nacancel ang hiking namin ngayon ni Ashley, kung hindi ay baka tambak na naman ng papeles itong lamesa ko dahil sa mga naiwang trabaho.
Maya-maya lang ay muling pumasok sa opisina si Reign "Ms. Solly, you have a visitor p-"
"I can't take visitors today, I'm busy." I answered without looking at her.
"Even if it's me?"
That voice.. I immediately looked at the door.
"Dark!" My eyes widened and stood up when I saw my brother sneaking at the door, only showing his face.
"A-anong ginagawa mo dito?" Nauutal kong tanong, "My god, you've changed a lot! Mas matangkad ka na sa'kin!" Hindi makapaniwalang sabi ko sa kaniya while guiding him to sit in the mini sofa inside.
He just went home from Canada to take his masterals. It's been more than a year, I guess. I asked my secretary to get Dark some drinks as we continued our talk. Nakatulala lang ako sa kaniya, hindi pa din makapaniwala na nandito siya ngayon sa harap ko. But he was just roaming his eyes around my office.
