Lost Out of Love

Chapter 26

"Hindi naman job ibinigay mo sa'kin! Business 'yon, Atlas! It's a freaking  business!"

I tried to control my temper, and lowered my voice dahil pinagtitingan na kami sa restaurant. Few days after I called him, he texted me that he wants to meet me. And we were discussing about the job he's going to offer, but after a few minutes we were now talking about building my own business.

"I know, I'm not dumb." He flicked my forehead with his fingers, "Doon 'din naman pupunta 'yon kapag nagtrabaho ka ng maigi. 'Saka diba 'yon naman ang gusto mo?" He said before drinking his wine.

"Oo nga, gusto ko 'yon. Pero hindi ba parang ang bilis? 'Saka wala pa kong ipon, wala pa kong pera! Saan ako kukuha ng pampatayo ng business ko?" I argued, getting pissed already. I know I was already overreacting, but his decisions was so fast. 

"Who knows, diba? Baka next month you're already managing your own business." He said in an arrogant tone while raising his right brow, but I just hissed. Sobrang taas niyang mangarap, it felt so unsure.

The days went by smoothly. Luckily, I still had some few bookings of photoshoots from different local clothing lines. Also, I was able to work at Atlas' company as his co-manager. Though some were shocked sa biglaang pagtaas ko ng posisyon. Maybe they were thinking na, 'nung nakaraan lang intern lang 'to, bakit naging co-manager na?

I also had to go from different places to attend seminars, meetings and conferences. The last week, I went in Cebu with Atlas, and tonight we'll be leaving for an ocular visit for the new branch in Boracay. I was packing my things when he called.

[I'll pick you up at 7 PM.] 

"I'm ready by 6 PM, don't worry." I said with a timid tone, "Bakit mo pa kasi ako kailangang isama dito? Ocular lang naman 'to, sana si Sandra na lang ang isinama mo."

[Are you complaining to your boss?] He said seriously.

"I'm not!" I defended myself, "I was just asking, y'know." 

[Marami pang gagawin si Sandra, kaya ikaw ang isinama ko.]

"Eh, madami din naman akong gagawi-"

He cutted me, [I'll pick you up at 6 PM, bye.] 

"Hoy! Akala ko ba 7 PM mo ko susundu-" Hindi ko na natuloy 'yung sasabihin ko dahil binabaan niya na ako ng tawag. What a rude boss.

We went to the airport by 8 PM. And entered the plane after an hour. It was a high-class flight, and he took the VIP tickets that's why we had a delicious dinner inside the plane. He's spoiling me so much. Hindi ko alam kung boss ko pa ba 'to. 

He reserved 2 rooms na magkatabi lang, and my lips formed into 'o' when I saw the interior of the hotel. It was so elegant, this is too much for a VIP. I went to the balcony, and saw the beach just a few meters away. It was so beautiful and so windy! Even my hair my was flowing.
