When the bell rang signalling that class was over I began to pack my things.
Julia was still in her seat staring at drool guy.
Ugh.
Julia and I had all the same classes together except Music, she did theatre art.
I pulled at her hand, "Come on Julia, we're going to be late" I told her breaking her from her trance.
"Oh, yes...class!" she said like she just discovered the cure to cancer.
She hurriedly pack her stuff and rushed out of her seat and out the door. I shook my head at her.
I walked towards the door to catch up to Julia knowing that she must have realized that I'm not with her.
"Excuse me," I heard a male voice say.
I turned around and found drool guy looking down at me. I frowned.
"Yes?" I asked, curiosity lining voice.
He ran his hand through his hair nervously and fiddled with his fingers.
"Do you know where the Chemistry lab is?" He asked hopefully, finally looking straight at me.
Yes, yes I do.
"I'm sorry, I can't recall" I said giving him a tight smile.
Liar.
I turned to walk away but he grabbed my hand and turned me around. I was shocked.
"Please, I'm new here" he said pleading with his eyes.
Why was I so mean?
I sighed.
"Okay, follow me" I said and turned on my heel. Julia must be wondering where I was.
I walked in the direction of the labs and stopped in front of the Chemistry one.
"There you go," I said motioning to the door.
"Thanks" he said giving me a cute smile.
I think I just swooned.
"No problem" I said turning and headed in the direction of my class.
History.

"YOU WHAT?!" Julia screeched in my ears while we were walking out of history class.
In the last two minutes of class I told her about my encounter with drool guy.
"I just showed him to his class" I shrugged.
She squealed.
Something is seriously wrong with this girl.
"Yadda, yadda" I said, heading to the cafeteria. We had free period and we normally hanged out at the corner of the cafeteria so that we could be first in line to get the good stuff.
"This is so awesome! You are so lucky" she said sighing dreamily.
I scoffed.
I was not that type of girl. Yes I would watch romance movies and cheered for the couple to be together but come on...this was real life.
No one would like someone like me.
I shook my head at her and took a seat at a table in the corner.
"So, excited for your performance?" I asked knowing that she has a drama piece to do next month.
She loved acting.
"Omg, yes I am so ready" she said taking a book from her bag to read.
I glanced at it and read the title.
"The Tempest?" I asked raising my brow.
"Yeah, we're doing Shakespeare for the drama piece" She said.
"Oh" I simply replied, taking out my song book.
"Oh!" Julia said glancing at my book,"you have that contest coming up right?"
I grinned at her.
"Yes, I'm so excited" I said sighing happily.
I absolutely loved singing.
It was my escape.
RING!
The bell rang and Julia and I hurriedly joined the line before the cafeteria became full.
