Chapter 18

I decided not to go over to Shane's house today because it was a Friday and I had better things to do.

Those better things being watching movies and drowning myself in junk food.

I was sprawled out on my bed with my laptop on my belly while I had Chocolate ice cream by my side putting some in my mouth every few minutes.

My door was suddenly pushed open and I sat up startled.

I saw Drew standing there looking at me sheepishly.

"What do you want?" I asked glaring at him.

"I need advice" he said walking in and taking a seat on my mini sofa.

"Sure come in, you're always welcome" I said sarcastically and rolled my eyes shutting down my laptop.

I looked at him expectantly and waited for him to start talking.

"So I like this girl..." He drawled.

"No way!" I fake gasped.

He glared at me and I laughed.

"...but she doesn't like me back" he finished and looked at me pleadingly.

"So what do you want from me?" I asked, already knowing the answer but I wanted him to say it.

"I need you to tell me how to win her over" he said looking at me hopefully.

"Can I know her name?" I asked curiously.

"That shall remain anonymous...for now" he said.

And that's how I ended up spending my Friday evening guiding Drew on how to get 'his girl'.

Then eating dinner of course, can't forget food.

"No Julia, I'm not going to Fun ville" I said talking to Julia over the phone.

It was a Saturday and she was trying to convince me to go to 'fun ville' with her.

"Why not? It would be fun!" She whined and I could imagine her pouting.

Fun my ass.

The last time we went and she wanted to go on the rollercoaster,

It was fun and all.

Before she puked all over my clothes.

"No Juli, remember what happened last time?" I said walking down the stairs.

"Yeah but that won't happen again" she said, I swear Julia was such a kid sometimes.

But I wouldn't change it for the world.

"Okay Juli, I'll go" I sighed into the phone.

"Yaaay!" She cheered and I could imagine her doing a happy dance.

"Be here in ten" I told her and hanged up.

I went to my room to shower and get ready.

I decided to wear a jeans skirt that wasn't so short but wasn't tall either and a nice pink blouse that had blue butterflies on it.

I put in a sandal today and ran a brush through my hair, leaving it down as always.

I applied some lip gloss and I was ready.

I went into the kitchen to get something to eat before Julia arrived but found that Drew moved the snacks to the top shelf as usual.

I pulled my stool and stood on it to reach a bag of lays when someone cleared their throat and I fell off the stool.

Again.

"Why are you so dressed up?" Drew asked not bothering to help me from the ground.

I glared at him in return.

"I'm going out with Julia" I said and saw him perk up at her name.

"Really? Can I come?" He asked hopefully.

"No you can't" I said fixing my clothes as I got up.

"Please" he said pouting at me.

I sighed and gave in.

"You have five minutes to get ready" I said and he ran up to his room as fast as lightening.

In about three minutes Julia honked her horn outside and I saw Drew run down the stairs tying his shoe lace.

"Let's go" I said opening the door and walking to Julia's car.

"Juli, Drew will be Joi-" I cut my sentence when I saw who was in the car with Julia.

More like the people who were in it.

Shane and...

Dylan?

Huh.

I'm just going to love today aren't I.
