This was really getting annoying.
Every lunch time for the past week Shane had been sitting with us and Julia had been chatting up a storm.
She squeals after every sentence, I killed her a thousand times in my head already.
"...and she has the cutest room, you should totally see her room
..." She continued to talk about me like I wasn't at the table.I glanced at Shane and saw that he had a small smile on his face, probably warming up to Julia's talkative nature.
I swear she always wanted to embarrass me, she told stories from when we were small.
The embarrassing ones.
"...and then she fell, right on her fa-"
"Okay, that's enough" I said cutting her off.
She pouted and I looked at her pointedly.
I'm sure that Shane knew all about my childhood by now.
"Anyways" Julia said changing the topic, "do you have a girlfriend Shane?" She finished and I nearly choked on the soda I was drinking.
"No I don't" he smiled and Julia gasped.
"How come? You're so hot" she complimented him and he smiled at her.
The bell rang and I immediately got up to exit.
"Wait Shan! Why don't we walk together? We're all in the same English class" she said pulling Shane along.
I groaned.
I forgot.

You know this feeling you get that someone is looking at you.I'm feeling that right now as I struggled to see the board to write off the notes that were on it.
I looked around the class and saw that everyone was minding their own business, even Julia, and not looking at me.
Mmmm strange.
I had the feeling again and jerked my head up to find Shane staring at me from across the room.
Once he realized I noticed he shifted his gaze and pretended he wasn't looking.
Huh.
I decided to ignore it and continued to write my notes.
I mean maybe he was looking at someone behind me, I was certainly not his type.
He was the hot boy that all the girls wanted.
He had his charm that he used to make the girls sigh dreamily.
Even when he was walking in the hallway he drew attention like a magnet.
Plus he sings, totally hot.
Me on the other hand was the complete opposite. Sometimes I wondered why he said with us at lunch.
I barely spoke to him and when I did it was only a few words.
I was so awkward when it came to boys.
No wonder I've never had a boyfriend.
Plus, I wasn't the prettiest girl around.
In fact, I don't even think I'm pretty much less.
Don't get me wrong I don't think I'm ugly but I don't think I'm pretty either...I'm just there.
I felt someone nudge me interrupting my thoughts.
I looked over to see Julia looking at me strangely.
"What's going on in that head of yours?" She asked frowning and knocked my head.
I pushed her hand away and smiled at her.
I saw that the class was almost empty signalling that the bell had rung already.
I began to pack up my things and followed Julia out of the room.
She grabbed my hand and dragged me down the corridor to our last class of the day.
French.
We went in and sat in our usual corner.
Julia took out her phone and began texting.
I tried to peek over her shoulder but she kept pushing my face away and I laughed at the annoyed look on her face.
Payback.
Someone took the seat in front me and turned around to face Julia and I.
Shane.
"Hey guys" he said grinning at us.
I realized that Him and Julia have gotten close in a friendship kinda way.
They liked talking about my embarrassing moments.
"Hey Shane" Julia said putting her phone in her pocket and looking at him.
"You're in this class?" I asked not bothering to greet him.
"Yup"
"But didn't you say you were French? So you have no need to learn it" I pointed out.
"I am French, that's why I take this subject" he said which confused me.
"Huh?"
"Well I already know French so this class would be easier to pass," he shrugged "brings up my average."
Oh
"That's smart" Julia said.
"So how are my favourite girls?" He asked fully turning his chair to face us.
"Well since you asked..." Julia started.
I think I killed her one thousand times more in my head.
