Chapter 19

I was currently sat in the car as Julia drove us to our destination.

Drew was riding shotgun and guess where I was?

I was sitting between Shane and Dylan.

Yaay me!

Shane was on my right and Dylan on my left.

I sighed to myself and willed this day to be over.

"Are you okay?" I heard Shane ask and I looked over at him.

"Of course"

"Good, because you sighed almost 50 times since you got into the car and its only been two minutes" he chuckled.

I smiled.

He was counting them.

"It was actually 47" I heard Dylan say and I twisted my body to face him.

Huh.

He smiled at me and I faced the front making eye contact with Julia through the mirror.

I'm gonna kill her.

"Why did you invite them Juli?" I asked her when we were in the bathroom.

We arrived a few minutes ago and I pulled Julia to the restroom with me to interrogate her.

"I thought it would be fun...plus they both texted me asking for you so I invited them" she shrugged.

I glared at her.

"Stop glaring and let's go have some fun with your men" she winked and walked pass me.

We went back to where everyone was standing and their focus was immediately on us.

Well two were focused on me and Drew was focused on Julia.

My cupid senses are ticking.

"Let's go on the ferris wheel!" Julia squealed and I shook my head.

"N-"

"Sure" Dylan said pulling me with him.

We bought our tickets and got in, Dylan took the spot beside me and Drew went in with Julia.

I looked around and saw Shane sat beside a girl I don't know.

The Ferris Wheel started and soon we were at the top.

"You look nice today" I heard Dylan say and looked at him to see him staring at me.

"T-thanks" I said looking around.

Why was this so awkward?

The ride went around for a while before it came to a stop and our turn was over.

When we got off I felt a little dizzy and I felt arms grab my waist to steady me.

I looked up to see Shane looking down at me with a smile.

My heart fluttered.

I blushed removing his hand which only caused more electricity to run through my body.

What's happening to me?

"Let's go on the rollercoaster!" Julia screamed and I covered my ears.

"No, please, n-"

"Why not? Let's go" Shane said pulling me along.

Don't I have a say?

We got onto the ride and this time Shane was the one beside me.

The ride started and I felt Shane's hand go around my waist.

He pulled me close to him and I looked at him shocked.

"You're so beautiful" he said leaning in to me.

Just when his lips were just inches from mine the ride suddenly stopped throwing us forward.

I looked around panicking when I heard someone speak from the intercom.

"We're just having some technical difficulties, will be fixed in a few minutes"

I groaned.

Great.

Shane looked over at me and laughed at the expression on my face.

I smiled back and butterflies filled my belly as I remembered the almost kiss.

But we just met like two or three weeks ago.

I didn't have feelings for him.

Right?
