I woke up the next morning to the sound of my alarm.
I reached over to turn it off but I accidentally pushed it off the table and heard it smash.
Shit.
Mom's gonna freak.
I quickly got out of bed and went to take a shower.
I picked out a denim jeans and a pink blouse that said 'cute' on the front.
I laced up my converse and ran downstairs.
"Shana, breakfast" I heard mom say when I was nearly at the front door.
Thought she would have left for work already.
"Mom! I'm gonna miss the bus" I tell her while I trudged to the kitchen.
"I'll take you guys to school, you need to have breakfast" she said, and at 'guys' I realized that Drew was also here.
He was sitting at the island eating eggs and bacon.
I sighed and took a seat beside him.
"Hey Drew" I said giving him a side glance.
"Hey, Nana" he said and smirked at me, I just rolled my eyes at the silly nickname.
Apparently, when we were smaller Drew couldn't pronounce my full name so he called me 'Nana'.
He can do it now but just does it to annoy me.
Mom placed a plate of eggs in front of me knowing that I hate Bacon.
"Thanks Mom" I smiled at her and dug in.

I opened my locker and retrieved my books for the day.
I had Maths first.
Ugh.
Suddenly someone slammed my locker shut and I jumped in surprise, my heart hammering.
I looked to the side to see Julia grinning at me and I swear I saw red.
"What the hell! You want to give me a heart attack?!" I shouted at her trying to take deep breaths.
She didn't even flinch.
"Good morning to you too sweetheart" she said and threw her arm around me and guided me down the corridor.
I grumbled a 'good morning' as we entered our class and took a seat at the back.
We were quite early, so we had a few minutes to chat before the lesson began.
"Is this seat taken?" I heard a male voice say and I looked up to see Shane.
Deja vu.
I didn't even bother trying to reply because I knew that Julia would do that for me.
"Of course not" she said winking at me. He took the seat next to me and smiled.
"Hi" he said showing me his cute dimple.
I just nodded and looked at my hands.
Then I felt a kick on my foot and saw Julia give me the side eye.
I sighed.
"Hi" I responded to him and saw the victorious smile on Julia's face.
He gave me another cute smile as the teacher entered the class and the head pounding lesson began.

"Movie night?" Julia asked me excitedly and I nodded at her smiling. We had movie night every Tuesday night, strange I know.
But as long as we don't stay up till late morning, Mom is good with it.
We just have to get our homework done first.
She squealed and did a happy dance while rambling about the movies she wanted to watch.
"Okay, so we'll meet up in the parking lot after practice" I told her. Julia drove a red corolla.
"Okay" she said grinning from ear to ear.
She bounced off to the auditorium to practice her drama piece and I made my way to the music room.
Mrs. Collins said we could use the room anytime to practice for the upcoming contest.
I just hope no one else is there now.
I pushed the door open and let out a breath when I saw that the room was empty.
Good.
I walked over to the guitar and picked it up.
I ran my fingers over it and sighed.
I really wish I had one for myself.
I took a seat on the stool and as I was about to start playing I heard the door open.
Not good.
I looked up and saw Shane walk in.
Definitely not good.
