Chapter 23

I put the candle in the centre of the table between the food and smiled satisfied with how I decorated the room.

I finally managed to decorate the room for Drew's date that he wanted to have tomorrow night.

I also set up multiple movies in front of the smart TV and put a lot of blankets and pillows on the ground.

There was a lot of food on my list to be ordered and I was proud of my planning skills.

I didn't even know the girl.

Just as I was about to exit the room Drew walked in.

"Wow" he said looking around.

I grinned at him and looked around too.

"I know I'm the best" I said winking at him and he rolled his eyes still laughing.

"I need another favour" he said looking down.

"I need to know who this girl is first" I said folding my arms.

"Okay, I'll need you to get this girl ready for me without her knowing about this date...I want it to be a surprise" he said nervously.

"And she is..." I prompted.

"Julia"

Huh.

I dialed Julia's number and she picked up after three rings.

"Hey bestieeeeeeee" she shouted as usual and I laughed.

"Hey Juli, wanna hang out today?" I asked hoping she would say yes.

Who was I kidding? She loved going out.

Especially since it was a Friday.

"Are you sick?" She asked sounding worried.

"What? No I'm not" I said confused.

"Oh, cause it's always me who asks to hang out and...are you sure you're not sick?" She said laughing and I laughed with her.

"I'm not, can't I hang out with my best friend? Let's go to the mall" I said trying to persuade her.

"Ouuu, yes I wanted to buy a cute blouse I saw last time anyway" she said gushing.

Good, my plan was working so far.

"Great, about twenty minutes time?" I asked.

"Yup" she said and hanged up the phone.

I jumped up and got into the shower scrubbing my body from my sweaty day at school today.

I washed my hair and brushed my teeth remembering the day I had today.

Dylan was being touchy more than usual and I noticed that Shane hardly hanged around us anymore since Dylan decided to make constant appearances.

I had no idea what was going on with him.

And then I remembered my date with him tomorrow night.

Ugh

I walked out of the bathroom and put on my jeans pants with a black blouse that had a cute pink puppy on it.

I dried my hair and brushed it leaving it down.

Just as I grabbed my phone and shove it inside my pocket I heard a honk.

I ran down the stairs and out the door for the first time not being caught.

I went into the front seat of Julia's car and smiled at her.

"Ready?"

"Hell yeah!" She shouted before she drove off.

"This dress makes me look fat" she pouted and I looked at her to see nothing wrong with the dress whatsoever.

We were currently in a store at the mall trying on dresses and taking pictures.

"No it doesn't, it looks amazing Juli" I said and turned her to face the mirror.

"Wow, it does look amazing" she said ogling herself.

She was in a knee length off the shoulder black dress that hugged her figure nicely.

I went to grab a pair of black heels for her in her size and gave it to her to try on.

"Wow, I look-"

"Breathtakingly beautiful" I said grinning at her.

"Yeah, I do but its a pity I don't have anywhere to wear it to" she frowned.

I smirked.

"You will"
