"You're like the luckiest girl alive" Julia grinned at me.
"Shut up" I said groaning.
"Make me" she said smugly.
"Okay" I simply said and Julia's eyes widened when I jumped on her back.
"Get off me woman or I'll call your men on you!" She shouted as I tackled her to the ground in the empty hallway.
It was free period and we were headed to the cafeteria.
We laughed as we rolled around play fighting.
"Didn't expect to see this in the middle of the hallway but I must say I don't mind" I heard a voice say.
Julia and I paused our mini fight to look up at the person looking down at us and grinning.
Shane.
Julia grinned back at him and I have him a smile.
I felt butterflies in my belly and blushed remembering last night.
Julia got up off the ground and fixed her clothes before she stretched her hand towards me.
I gladly took it only to be pulled up, twirled then landed in the arms of Shane.
This girl.
I looked up at him and saw him look down at me with mischief in his eyes.
"Falling for me already Shana?" He said and laughed when I scrunched up my face.
He steadied me on my feet and I took that time to glare at Julia.
She just shrugged happily and skipped down the corridor.
I'm going to kill her, again.

"...and make sure I get an invite to the wedding...wait no...I should be the bridesmaid" Julia finished making me roll my eyes for the millionth time.
So I switched the situation.
"You're on about my 'love life' but what about yours?" I asked and she blushed immediately.
"W-well...um..." She stuttered, "There's this guy" she started and I listened to her attentively for the first time in a long time.
She talked about a guy named 'Jack' that she was paired with for the essay. She said that he was so sweet and she had the biggest crush ever on him but she wasn't sure if he liked her back.
"I'm sure he likes you back Julia, you're everything anyone could want, and if he doesn't then he's an idiot" I said meaning it.
Julia smiled at me.
"Thank you Shanny, you're the best, you'll have to meet him one day" she said grinning widely.
I was happy to see Julia happy and that she had a crush on this guy.
She wasn't really open either despite her talkative and friendly nature.
I just hoped he was the one.

"Did I tell you about the dog that crossed the street?" Julia asked perking up.
"Yes Juli, 100 times actually" I chuckled awkwardly.
Why you ask?
We were currently at lunch and Dylan was sitting with us. The table was tense.
I kept remembering the peck he gave me then the one Shane gave me.
I was flustered.
"Well how about the-" I cut her off.
"Yes, yes and yes" I said and she pouted.
I glanced at Shane and realized that he had a permanent frown etched into his face and was staring down at his food.
Julia was trying to make small talk.
And Dylan was staring at me.
Not awkward at all.
The bell rang.
I love the bell so much.
I quickly began packing up my things to head to class.
"Well its class time, see you guys later" I said waving at them and I saw Julia give me a smirk.
I ignored it and began to walk away when I felt warm hands grab my wrist.
"Leaving me? We have the same class remember?" Shane said and I cursed myself.
Music.
