Chapter 4

"Omg, this is so good" Julia moaned as she took another bite from her Cheese pizza.

I rolled my eyes.

And I thought I was dramatic.

While Julia was having a pizza I had an Apple and a dish filled with chicken wings. We both had a soda.

"You're so extra" I said rolling my eyes playfully.

Suddenly the chair beside me scrapped back and I looked up to see drool guy.

Huh, strange.

"Is this seat taken?" He asked and looked directly at me.

I opened my mouth to say 'yes' but Julia beat me to it.

"Absolutely not" she said flirtatiously.

I rolled my eyes.

He took the seat beside me and placed his lunch onto the table.

He glanced at Julia and gave her a small smile.

I swear I saw her turn into a puddle.

"Hi, I'm Shane" he says to Julia and she fans herself.

I heard her discretely say 'hot' in response to his name.

"I'm Julia" she said winking at him.

I rolled my eyes again.

Droo- I mean Shane turned his gaze to me.

"And your name is..." He trailed off.

"Shana" I said taking interest in my food.

Julia squealed.

I think I'm going to kill her.

"Wow, your names match! Shana and Shane... So cute" she said leaning across the table to pull my cheek.

I slapped her hand away and gave her a glare.

She ignored me and turned to Shane who had just started to eat his pasta.

"So Shane, where are you from?" She asked him.

He swallowed before answering.

"France" he simply said going back to his food.

I swear I see Julia perk up.

"Nice, Shana here knows a little French" she said winking at me.

"Does she?" He asked glancing at me, I just shrugged and grab my apple taking a bite.

"Yeah she does, you two would be so cute together" she squealed again.

I could see the headlines: Teenage girl 'Julia Dean' killed by best friend 'Shana Bentley' for squealing too much.

Shane let out a small chuckle and glanced at me.

I barely knew the guy and Julia was already pairing us up.

This girl.

"Well we have to go, don't want to be late for class" I said gathering my things and disposing of my garbage.

"But-" Julia starts but I cut her off with a stern stare.

She grumbles under her breath and gets up packing her things.

"Bye Shane" She said flirtatiously while following me out the cafeteria.

I rolled my eyes again.

I really need to stop doing that.

"Shan! Wait up!" Julia called after me as I speed walked it out the Cafeteria.

I slowed down and she caught up to me.

"Someone's in a hurry" she smirked, and just like that she got herself killed in my mind again.

"Shut up" I said entering the music room.

She chuckled and turned around going for the auditorium where she has theatre arts.

I sighed and closed the door, looking around at all the instruments.

No one was here yet so I took up the guitar and began to play my favourite song.
