Chapter 9

I rolled over in bed and stared at the ceiling.

It was a Saturday and I had absolutely nothing to do.

Most of my Saturdays were like this.

I got up and decided to get some food to brighten my day.

I walked into the kitchen and pulled the stool to get to the very top where I knew Drew hid the good stuff from me.

As I got a bag of chips from the cupboard I lost my balance and fell on the kitchen floor.

Then I heard laughing.

I turned my head to see Drew laughing at me and I glared at him.

"Y-you are so clumsy" he said between laughter and I got up and smacked the back of his head as I walked out of the kitchen.

That'll shut him up.

I launched myself on the couch and picked an interesting romance movie to occupy my day.

Three movies later and I'm bored out of my mind.

It was now one in the evening and I woke up at eight this morning.

Wow, I spent that long watching movies?

As I was heading to my room I felt my phone buzz in my hand.

I looked at the message and saw that it was from Julia.

Get ready Shanny, we're going out. Be there in a few.

I read the message and felt a smile come to my face.

She just made my Saturday.

"That's cute" Julia said sitting on my bed.

I was wearing a jeans short shorts and a black spaghetti strap top. I let down my long black hair with some hairpins holding it out of my face. I had on my converse to complete the outfit.

It was cute.

"Thanks" I said and looked at her.

She was wearing a denim jeans and an off the shoulder top.

She looked hot.

"So where are we going?" I asked grabbing my phone and putting it into my pocket.

"The mall, I really need some jeans" she said walking out of my room.

I went downstairs only to bump into my Dad.

He raised a brow.

"And where are you off to?" He asked.

"Julia and I are going to the mall," I said kissing him on the cheek "I'll be back soon"

"You better be" he said and I rolled my eyes dragging Julia to the front door.

"Bye Dad!" I shouted once I was outside.

I walked over to Julia's car and noticed that someone was in the front seat.

Not just any someone, it was Shane.

Ugh.

I looked over at Julia and saw her smiling at me innocently.

"I invited him, he's our friend" she said shrugging and got into the drivers side.

I grumbled under my breath and got into the back of the car.

We arrived at the mall in half an hour and let me tell you: the car ride was horrible.

Julia turned on the radio and sang loudly to every song that came on.

And even though Shane could sing he also joined her with horrible singing as well.

I think I've gone mad.

When Julia parked the car I jumped out unable to take it any longer.

We walked into the mall and Julia dragged me into the first store she saw.

"Ouuuuu, these jeans are so nice" she said taking up a couple of jeans and looked at the size in them.

I hummed in agreement because they were nice.

She smiled and grabbed a couple more in her size and went to the cashier.

"Let's go over to the arcade guys" she said when she finished cashing.

Sure let's go to the arcade.

Should be fun.
