Chapter 26 - Beach Party

*A/N - I'm shit with timings of things, so just take it. The chapters follow on from eachother with days between them at the most (unless otherwise stated)*

With everything that has gone down lately, Mina, Katsuki and Kiri have all made it their priority to try and get me into a better mood and try to help me forget the recent activities.

So, considering it was the end of our first semester, Kiri had decided the best thing to do was to throw a big ass party. They had invited everyone from college and high school, basically everyone they've ever known. Mina, the ever sociable, helped him design the party and had the final decision on where it would take place.

And of course, Mina being Mina, decided that this Party was going to take place on the beach!

I'm not going to lie, I am very excited for it and it is helping to lessen my anxiety. Katsuki hasn't left my side other than when he's had class and even then Mina is with me. Him and Kiri had both decided for the forseeable future, it was better for us to both move in with them.

Neither of us were complaining, of course, and it was nice to know we had somewhere to go if we ever needed space.

It is the night of the party, we've all had our term results, I wasn't expecting to pass with everything that's happened and me be clearly very distracted... But I am very surprised I had a satisfactory grade and I'm able to move on to my next term.

Mina and Katsuki are both the over achievers so obviously passed with flying colours. Kiri on the other hand, well he got by atleast. He's more of a social butterfly and sports fanatic than an academic person.

We were all eager to celebrate so all gathered quite quickly at the beach, I wore black short denim shorts, with a white crop top and toe-posts and I had my hair down so I was forever putting it behind my ear due to the wind. Mina was in a short, flowy yellow dress with beaded sandals, her hair was in its usual perm fashion. Kat and kiri both wore vest tops and surfer shorts with toe-posts.

Kiri and Kat both carried kegs of beer from the back of a truck to the table we had set up with some snacks. Me and Mina carried the spirits and plastic cups between us.

There are tall wooden poles that we have lit placed randomly across the beach and there is various tee-pees and tents all dotted around as well.

We did a pretty good job to be fair, not that anyone is gonna give a damn in just a few hours. We'll all be in various states of drunkness. We each highfive with a smile then walk over to the table and pour ourselves a drink.

"I'm gonna put some music on!" Kiri says as he walks back towards his truck. Theres a couple of large speakers, a stereo and a generator in the back to power it all without letting the cars battery die.

We're talking amongst ourselves about who we think will turn up when the music starts suddenly and we can barely hear each other again. We laugh and cheer at Kiri as he comes back over to us, fist pumping the air. Him and Kat both give eachother a "manly" hug and pat on the back and proceed to drink.

As time goes on people start to arrive, including Jirou and Denki, Shoto and Izuku, Uraraka and Iida, Momo, Shoji, Tokoyami, Aoyama and everyone else from school. Some brought their partners or friends, some came alone. All in there was a good 100 or so people here.

"This is a great turnout!" I shout over the music in Mina's ear.

"You're right! It's amazing...I think I'm gonna go and catch up with some of them." She shouts back.

"Alright! Catch you later." I say with a smile. Me being the shy person I am, I don't want to mingle with people I haven't seen in years so I stick by Katsuki's side.

He notices me still beside him as Mina walks away. "You're quiet tonight, everything okay?" He says close to my ear.

"Yeah! Just, not that great with large crowds." I laugh.

"I know what you mean--" He's interupted as Denki comes running over pulling him and Kiri into a bear hug.

"Eyyyyy, it's the Bakusquad!!" He cheers and we all laugh.

"I'll leave you to it!" I say and kiss Kat on the cheek to go and find someone I recognise.

Mina, Jirou and Ochako are all sat together, posing and taking some photos. I'm about to join them when Izuku pulls me to the side and hugs me.

"Oh my gooooood, Y/N. This party is amazing!" He slurrs. "You don't even want to know what me and Shoto have been up to..." He continues to mumble in between hiccups.

"I bet! I'm glad you're enjoying yourself." I say back to him with a small nod.

"Ohhh, more than enjoying! HEYY SHOO!" He looks away from me as he notices his boyfriend walking passed us.

I shake my head at the drunken boy as he practically falls on top of Shoto who surprisingly laughs at him. Wait, he can smile?

I wonder the beach alone until I find myself a fair distance from everyone else and the noise has become a quiet hum. I sit on a nearby rock and sigh to myself as I take a sip of my drink.

After a short while I decide to head back. Katsuki is probably wondering where I am.

As I get closer I spot his spikey hair in the distance talking to someone and I creep up to him, hiding behind some of the rocks and ready to pounce on him.

Thats when I notice the other person's arms are snaked around his neck and they both lean in as they are about to kiss....
