Chapter 7: Jaune's Spark of a Warrior

Your P.o.V:

You were walking thru the hallway heading to your dorm to go to sleep for the night. As you were  heading to the dorm, you see Jaune peeping out of his window to his dorm. Trying to open it.

"Hey Jaune." *Jaune looks at you freaking out a bit* "Did you lock yourself out again?"

Jaune: "Oh uh, Nope!" *show me his scroll* "See?"

You notice Jaune have a bit of worry on his face. According to his Team he has been missing a bit.

"So where have you been lately"

He sighed and slouches slightly.

Jaune: "I uh messed up. I did something I shouldn't have and now Cardin's got me on a leash, Pyrrha won't even talk to me anymore. I'm starting to think coming to this school was a bad idea. I'm a failure."

He slides down and I kneel infront of him.

"Nope!"

He got confused.

Jaune: "N-nope?"

"Nope. You're a leader now Jaune, you're not allowed to be a failure."

Jaune: "But...What if I'm a failure at being a leader."

"Nope."

Jaune: "You're not the most easiest person to talk about this stuff."

"Maybe I am, maybe I'm not, who knows, who cares. What matter is that you, Jaune Arc might have been a failure the first day we met, but you can't be one now. Ya'know why?"

Jaune: "Uhh, Because-"

"Because it's not you anymore. You got a team Jaune. If you fail then you'll just be bringing them down with you. You have to put teammates first ad yourself second. Your team deserves a great leader and that leader can be you, Jaune."

You begin to walk away smiling.

"Have a good night Jaune."

Jaune: "You know...you are going to a great leader one day."

You stop and look back at him curious.

"Who told you that?"

Jaune: "Me and Team RWBY."

You smirk and continue to walk away waving Jaune as you head to your dorm for the night.

Timeskip to the next day:

"All the students in their normal combat clothes were taken to the Forest of Forever Falls. Everyone was immediately captivated by the forest's beauty. Then Ms. Goodwitch reminds us of the task that we have been assigned."

Glynda: "Yes, students, the Forest of Forever Fall is indeed beautiful. But we are not here to sight-see. Professor Peach has asked all of you to collect samples from the trees deep inside this forest, and I'm here to make sure none of you die while doing so."

Y/n: "Thanks for the faith of confidence."

You then see Jaune carrying 6 empty jars and is having trouble while doing so. You wondered why he's holding that many jars but you were stuck in place to listen to Glynda's instructions.

Glynda: "Each of you is to gather one jar's worth of red sap. However, this forest is full of creatures and Grimm, so be sure to stay by your teammates. We will rendezvous back here by 4 o'clock. Have Fun!"

As she walks away you heard her scroll ringing and she answers the call. For some reason you slowly got a chill down your spine.

'I just got a chill...that's not good...'
