Chapter 19: Lighting up the dance floor

3rd P.o.V:

Batholomew Oobleck is shown to be listening intently as Peter Port laughs over some unheard anecdote. Ozpin is standing off to the side with Glynda Goodwitch until General James Ironwood offes his hand for her to dance with him. Jaune approach  Ruby Rose, who us standing pensively near the refreshment tables.

Jaune: "I see you're hiding at the punch bowl."

Ruby: Yep. *An audible *pop* can be heard s Ruby emphasize the "p".*

Jaune: "To the socially awkward."

Ruby giggles and they clink glasses.

Y/n: "Yo Jaune, Ruby!"

Jaune looks over to see You walking over to Jaune and Ruby smiling.

Jaune: "Hey Y/n, I never got to say Thanks."

Y/n: *chuckles* "Don't worry about it. What are friends for?"

Ruby: "Huh what are you talking about?"

You are about to say something until:

Pyrrha runs over to Jaune smiling happily.

Pyrrha: "Come on Jaune! Let's dance!"

This shocked Ruby as Jaune smiles and kisses Pyrrha's cheek.

Jaune: "Hehe okay!" *looks at you* "See you Y/n and Ruby!"

They soon the two love bird head to dance floor to dance.

Ruby: "WHEN DID THEY START DATING?!"

Y/n: "Huh....what do mean they've been dating for a long while... how did you not notice..."

Ruby: "I...." *is at lost of words you chuckles* "So...um aren't you going to dance?"

Y/n: "I am...but I need to take a breather."

You heard laughter nearby and you see your sister Weiss and brother Whitley dancing on the dance floor with Anubis and Saffron. You smile a bit until you remember something that you had planned for this event. 

You look at Ruby, and smile: "It's almost time! I better get the others." You begin to walk over to Anubis and Whitley.

Ruby: "Almost time...for what?"

You turn your head and smirk. 

Y/n: "You'll see.."

You continue over to Anubis and Whitley

Y/n: "Hey you two it's almost time!"

Whitley: "Oh right! Hope you get ready for a show Saffron!"

Anubis: "Heh, well, Weiss I'll be right back." 

Weiss: "Hehe good luck you three!"

Saffron: "GO GET EM WHITLEY AND BIG BROTHER!"

You three laugh a bit before waving as you all head to the back of the stage of ballroom.

Ruby walks over to Weiss and Saffron with a confused look on her face.

Ruby: "Um guys where is they going?"

Weiss: "You will see!"

As you pass back you see a girl with a Atlas guard dancing with a Atlas guard. But you and Anubis look over and listened in on Mercury Black and Emerald Sustrai.

Emerald: "It appears all the dancers have partners.

Woman: *heard via ear-bud* "How long do I-"

You pull Mercury's earbud on of him and spoke directly into it.

"Here's a message to you back the fuck off or you will get burned..."

You hand it back to him. Both Emerald and Mercury look at you with shock as they notice a small flame coming out of your fist as a warning. You make it your way to the stage.

The light soon turn back as soon the spot light makes it to you, Anubis, Whitley, Ren and Nora on the stage. (You and Anubis and Whitley have guitars and microphones, Nora with Drum set, Ren with Key board, and Nora with  You walked up with a microphone on hand:

Y/n: "WHAT'S UP BEACON!!! "All the student screamed out for the group. "DO WE HAVE A SHOW FOR YOU TONIGHT! READY TO LIGHT THINGS DANCE PARTY UP!! SO ENOUGH TALK LET ROCK!!!"

*Anubis and Whitley takes first part of guitar's

On a cold winter of morning

*You take over the guitar solo as  Whitley and Anubis take a small drink to relax with Anubis and Whitley soon joining in with you*

*You alone taking over the entire solo part at the end you take break to breath Anubis and Whitley taking over*

Now here we stand with their blood on our hand
We fought so hard, now can we understand
I'll break the seal of this curse if I possibly can
For freedom of every man

The whole School burst out in claps and cheers for the group For their amazing Performance. You and the the others smile happily, you look at the your guys girl friend all of them Cheer for you the most proud of you all.
