CHAPTER 42

Seulgi's POV

"I'm..... Fine? I guess? " I said and shook my head while I took a sip on my coffee.

"Why aren't you sure? Haha. Anyway, how are you and Jennie? " she asked.

"We're fine. Totally fine. " i lied. Well I couldn't just tell her what happened right?

"Great then. You look so happy together. " she said.

"Yeah. How abou you and Lisa? " i'm the ome who asked this time because I swear if I found out that Lisa's doing what she did on Jennie before im'ma totally beat her up. Hindi na siya nakakatuwa. She can't just go and jump on one girl to another.

"Oh, we broke up 3 months ago. " she said that surprised me.

"What's with that look? " she said and laughed.

"Wait, so you're telling me, wala na kayo ni Lisa? " i asked agan even if I heard it loud and clear. Hindi lang ako makapaniwala.

"Luh surprised ka gurl? Pero oo nga kulit mo din eh. " she said in between her laugh and took another sip on her coffee.

"Why? I mean, you seem perfectly fine tho. Why the sudden breakup? "

"Long story short, we're not as happy before already. We thought we could work it out pero turns out the opposite. Dami naming di pagkakaintindihan na nag li-lead ng small fights into big one. Until everytime nalang kaming nagsisigawan nakakasawa rin so yeah, we decided to part ways hindi na kasi healthy yung relationship namin. " she explained.

Napatango naman ako. Well, talaga naman kasing hindi sila magkakasundo knowing Lisa, she doesn't one someone to boss her around while Irene, kung anong gusto niya dapat yun ang masusunod.

"Anyway, may I ask why were you here? Aren't you supposed to be with Jennie or something?"

I was about to answer her when the door of the shop opened and two familiar figure walked in.

Lisa is dragging the sulking Jennie inside but Jennie is obviously annoyed. I was about to approach them but decided not to when Lisa place a quick kiss on Jennie's forehead that made her eyes softened. Natawa lang si Lisa sa reaction ni Jennie kaya hinila na niya ito sa counter.

"Questions have been answered I guess? " I said to Irene and stood up from my seat. Before I could even walk away, Irene held my wrist.

"Where are you going? " tanong niya.

"Somewhere far from here. Somewhere peaceful and quiet. I need to loosen and calm my self. " sagot ko at napatango lang siya.

She was about to let go of my wrist but I held her hand instead.

"Do you wanna come with me? " she looked surprised when I ask her if she wants to come with me.

"Seul? " sabay kaming napalingon ni Irene kay Jennie na kasalukuyang nakatingin samin and when she saw my hand holding Irene's that's when tears started flowing out of her eyes.

"S- -seul, I don't think I can come with you. You need to talk to Jen—"

"I won't take no as an answer Irene. Come with me. " sabi ko at hinila siya palabas ng coffee shop not minding Jennie who's currently calling for me.

Dire-diretso lang ako sa paglalakad while dragging Irene with me when she suddenly pulled me that made us stop.

"What now Irene? You're only wasting our time. " iritang tanong ko.
