Anthony's point of view;

"Anthony, Anthony- I'm talking to you-!" Macy screams slamming the car door. "What, Macy, what?" I say turning around, she looks beyond furious. "Don't leave me talking, I wasn't done!" she huffs and puffs in annoyance. "Macy you're overeacting okay?" she does a face and opens her mouth like she wants to say something but she doesn't.

"Macy, I'm sorry." I say, she crosses her arms over her chest. "You embarrassed me in front of my friends." she whispers, "You told them I was your boyfriend when you know I'm not." she looks down at the floor and I know I've hurt her feelings. "Oh Mac-" she pushes me away. "I don't want to talk to you right now." she walks back to her car and I see her wipe her cheek, she's crying. "Wait, Macy! No! Come here!" she gets in the car and drives away. I rub my temples and realize people around me are staring.

I also realize I have no way to get back to my apartment since I came here to the cafe with Macy,and she kinda just left me here. I walk in the cafe feeling awakward and embarrassed, and  I sit in a table. There's plenty of people here so I take out my phone and pretend I'm using it so I don't look like a complete loner and a loser. "Macy, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to make you cry. I'm such a douche. Sorry :(" I hit the send button and hope Macy will text back.

Ten minutes of staring at my phone, I give up and turn it off. "Sir are you getting anything to drink?" a lady with blonde hair and glasses asks, "I would like umm- coffee, please." she nods and walks away. Seconds later she brings me my coffee, I'm about to drink it when something takes my breath away. It looks just like her, she's walking in the cafe. She's wearing a skirt and a pink shirt. Her hair is in a pony tail and I feel like I'm goin to pass out.

She looks just like Sydney- just like her. My heart rate increases and I'm still looking at her, She sits down at a table far from mine, she looks tired and sleepy. But it can't be her. It can't. She's with a tanned curly head guy. I jump when I hear a vibration, I look down to see my phone. Macy texted back. "Are you doing okay, sir?" the blonde lady asks standing in the way blocking my view from the girl. I swallow even though there's no saliva in my mouth, it's completely dry. It's like I'm frozen and I can't seem to move. "Ye-yeah." I choke out, "I- how much is.. the - uh.."

The lady looks at me strangely, "Sir, are you okay?" I close my eyes and feel my eyes fill with tears. Why? Why is this happening? It can't be her- it just can't be Sydney. Maybe I'm seeing things, maybe I'm going crazy. I'm loosing my mind. My phone vibrates again and the lady is saying something but I don't want to hear it, my head is spinning. I finally open my eyes and take a deep breath.

"Sir, you look pale. Are you okay? Do you want me to call somebody?" I shake my head, "No, no, I'm fine. I'm okay, just.. stress. I'm fine. How much is for the coffee?" I ask, "Three dollars and.." I cut her off and find myself staring at that girl. She's looking at the table and talking to that guy. It can't be Sydney.

Sydney wouldn't be talking to any guy, Sydney wouldn't be wearing that- Sydney.. she wouldn't be here in California. I hand the lady five dollars and get up quickly grabbing my phone. "Here's your change-" I interrupt her, "You can keep it." I walk to the door and open it, when I do the girl looks up and looks at me straight in the eyes. Her face goes pale like they've drain the blood out of her body. She opens her mouth but I walk out the cafe, when I'm outside I start to run. I run down the street fast, without looking back.
