Part 22

"So now are you gonna tell me what's up with those girls?" Nick says as we get out of the taxi. I shake my head, "We are here to look at the aparment. Not the time to talk about this." he sighs as we look up at the building, "Well I can't help but to be curious, while ago you were still crying even after they left. What did they do to you? They even made Alice cry." he says as we enter the building.

"Really?" I ask looking at him. He nods, "Yeah. After she walked in with the hot chocolate cup she wiped some tears, I asked if she was okay and her chin quivered but she nodded. I'm sure it was cause of them." he says as we approach a lady and a man. "I don't understand." I whisper. Nick shakes the lady and the man's hand, I do the same. "Are yall the ones that wanted to see the aparment?" the man asks and we nod at the same time.

He smiles, "Great. Well the aparment is on the second floor. Its in great condition," he says as he begins to walk and we follow him. "My wife and I are moving to a house and we want to rent the place. Its great, and it has a great view!" he says happily. We make it to the second floor and they walk to room number 36. "Here it is." the lady says opening the door. The aparment is beautiful and in very good condition. Its pretty good for 160 a month. "Woah." Nick says smiling as he takes a look at the aparment. Its woah, alright.

"Pretty good huh?" The lady says and I nod. "Here let us show you around, so theres two rooms and a bathroom." they show us the bathroom first, its decent looking. Then they go to a room, its big. "Here is the big room and the small room," we walk to the smaller room. "Is right here, all though I'm pretty sure you two won't need this room." she says with a smile. I'm confused at first and I make this face but then I realize what she's meaning. "Oh no we're not-" before I can finish my sentence the man starts speaking.

"Are you two getting married? Or engaged?" I feel the blood go to my cheeks. "We are not engaged or getting married." Nick says and his cheeks are pinkish. "A just a couple." the lady says. I scratch my neck nervously, "Umm no." I whisper. She raises and eyebrow, "Alright then."

"We would like to rent the apparment." Nick says before they ask anymore weird awkward questions. "Oh lovely! When would yall like to move in?" the man asks. "As soon as possible. Maybe tomorrow?" the man looks at his wife who nods. "Tha'll be fine, of course we will need a payement." Nick takes out the money and hands it to the man who then counts it and gives us the key.

"Thank you." Nick says as we leave. When we are outside he elbows me lightly. "Sydney, come on tell me." he says. "I will, tonight. But first I have to go somewhere." he faces me, "And who will that be?"

"Anthony."
