Chapter 13

                          When Faye wakes up the next morning, she is tangeled up with both Morgan and Lori in her bed. She isn't sure what time they shut the Xbox off and went to bed but the last thing she remembers before waking up just now is Morgan kicking both her and Lori's asses at the wrestling game.

When Lori and Morgan also wake up, the trio of girls all start to laugh. The three get out of bed, Morgan and Lori are in pajamas they borrowed off of Faye. They go to the kitchen / living area where they find Laney, she is cooking breakfast for the four of them.

"Good morning, girls," Laney greets.

"Morning, ms Marshall," Morgan greets.

"It's Laney," Laney informs her. "Call me Laney. Ms Marshall makes me sound old."

"Sorry," Morgan gushes. "Good morning, Laney."

"Better," Laney winks. "Go ahead and get cleaned up while I finish cooking, we can eat and get the day started."

Morgan, Lori, and Faye all go back to Faye's bedroom to get ready for the day.

After breakfast and when Morgan leaves with Lori, Faye goes to the Salvatore boarding house. While she was eating, Damon texted her and wanted her to come over. Laney isn't sure what she wants to think about her daughter bring friends with a vampire, but as long as he doesn't hurt her, Laney is okay with it.

Faye parks beside Damon's car and she walks up to the door, and rings the bell. Damon answers the door quickly and he smiles at Faye.

"I need your help," Damon claims. "Come in."

When Faye enters the house, Damon tells her about the tomb full of vampires and about Katherine Pierce. Faye sits on the couch in the library and she listens to every word Damon says about the tomb and Katherine and about how he wants in it.

"I want you to help me because to be honest, you're the only person I can trust," Damon claims. "Stefan claims I can trust him and Elena, but I'm not so sure I can."

"I'll help you," Faye claims. "Promise."

Damon smiles and he sighs. "Come with me, then."

Damon and Faye have went to Elena's, and are in the kitchen with Jenna. Damon is slicing up a tomato while Jenna sips on a glass of wine. Faye grows bored and she walks into the living room, she plops down on the couch with Jeremy.

"Does this have a two player?" Faye asks. "I gave a game similar to this on my Xbox."

Jeremy grins and he quits the game. He gets the other controller and gets the two-player mode set up. Faye grins in happiness as Jeremy gets the game going.

"How do you put up with Tyler?" Jeremy asks.

"Honestly? I'm not sure," Faye replies as they play the game. "I like him and care for for him, but it's like I'm just waiting for him to mess up because I know how Tyler's reputation is."

Elena enters the house and she eyes Jeremy and Faye. She is confused as to why Faye is here but she doesn't question her. Elena gets her answer when she enters the living room and spots Damon talking to Jenna while cooking.

Elena glances back at Faye, who just cheered because she beat Jeremy at something before she looks back at Damon with distaste.

Damon has taken Faye's controller and he's now playing against Jeremy on the game with Faye beside him. Damon does a good move and Jeremy continues playing, focused,

"You said you never played this before," Jeremy grunts as they play on.

"I'm a fast learner," Damon claims. "Quick reflexes."

When Jeremy's phone goes off, he pauses the game and pulls his phone out. When he sees who's calling him, Jeremy ignores the call and unpauses the game.

"Who are you dodging?" Damon asks.

"This girl, Anna," Jeremy replies. "She can be, uh, persistent."

"Is she hot?" Damon asks.

"Yeah, yeah, but she can be weird," Jeremy responds.

"Hot trumps weird, trust me," Damon states, making Faye rolls her brown eyes but Jeremy laughs - agreeing.

When Stefan shows up, Damon and Faye join them on the front porch. Damon tells Stefan and Elena that he's done filled Faye in on the day's events. Stefan isn't happy that Damon drug Faye into this but Faye assured him that she doesn't care, and she really doesn't.

"I went to see mr. Saltzman," Stefan claims once he is filled in about Faye being on team Damon, "and the Gilbert journal wasn't with him."

"Who took it?" Damon asks him.

"I don't know," Stefan replies honestly.

"You know what, it's that teacher," Damon assumes. "There's something really off about him."

"No, he doesn't know anything," Stefan claims. "Somebody got to it right before me."

"Who else knew it was there?" Damon asks and Stefan looks in through the window at jeremt.

Damon follows Stefan's gaze and he goes to head inside.

"No," Elena attempts to stop him. "Damon, leave him out of it."

"Why, what's the big deal?" Damon asks as he heads toward the front door.

"Damon!"

Damon ignores Elena's protests as he enters the house, Faye sits on the porch swing as Elena follows Damon in with Damon on her tail. Faye knows that Damon will fill her in along the way. Faye ain't betray him but she gets why he tells her when things are done. He wants her on his side but he doesn't want her in the drama situations like this, the questioning.

When Damon and Jeremy leave, Faye heads to Tyler's. Richard lets her in this time and tells her that Tyler is up in his room. Faye thanks the mayor and she heads upstairs and enters Tyler's room. He is passed out on top of the covers in only his boxers, his bottom lip is puffed out in a pout.

Faye closes the door and pulls the blanket out from the heavy sleeper and puts it over Tyler. Faye strips from her day clothes and texts her mom, saying she's staying the night with Tyler and they'd talk about their days when Faye gets home the next day.

Faye grabs one of Tyler's tshirts from his closet and slips it on, and she climbs into Tyler's bed. She grabs his arm and pulls it over her and curls up to him.

Tyler wakes you at around midnight with his arms around someone. He hesitantly opens eyes and he sees Faye in his arms. He smiles in relief and he pulls her closer to him before going right back to sleep.
