After breakfast with Laney, Faye heads to school. She meets Lori and Morgan at the front and they spot Elena talking to Stefan. The trio walk right by then without so much as a hello and head toward their class.

They didn't betray Faye, but they betrayed Damon. Who knows what they'd do to her. Would they betray her, too? Faye trusts Morgan and Lori, they've grown close since Faye joined the basketball team and left it. She didn't want to leave but with her anger issues, she thought it'd be best. She quit the day before Grams's funeral.

Faye goes to Tyler's after school and walks right into his room, where he is lifting dumbbells. Tyler looks up at her as he lifts the dumbbells and he smiles.

Faye kisses him and sits on his bed behind him. Faye lays back and Tyler finishes. He moves to where he is hovering over Faye and he kisses her roughly, his hand moving up Faye's shirt.

"You reak," Faye mutters against Tyler's lips.

Tyler busts out laughingly he rolls to lay on his back. "You're awful, Faye."

Faye kisses him and tells him, "go shower."

"Join me?"

Faye smirks and she follows Tyler into his bathroom for a shower,

Faye and Tyler had them a steamy shower with some good shower sex, Tyler's personal favorite. They're in the kitchen now, baking brownies while Richard is in his office and Carol is off doing whatever it is she does in town.

Faye kisses Tyler passionately as she aroma of chocolate fills the room, and she pulls away. "You're awesome."

"I know," Tyler muses.

"What smells so good?" Richard asks as he walks into the room. "Ooh, is that chocolate?"

"We're baking chocolate brownies, dad," Tyler says.

"Mm, mind if I sit in here?" Mayor Lockwood asks. "They smell delicious."

Tyler and Faye both agree. Mayor Lockwood and Faye begin talking about news reporting. Faye plans to Major in communications at Whitmore college and work for the news station in Mystic Falls or Whitmore, she isn't sure which one yet, but she looks forward to the job.

Tyler is glad his father and girlfriend get along, and he's glad that Faye has her future planned out. Which college she wants and what major, and career. He still isn't sure what he wants to really do when he gets out of high school. He wants to attend Whitmore, that much he knows. But as for a major and possible career choice? Tyler has absolutely no clue.

Faye and Tyler eat brownies in the living room when mayor Lockwood brings some to his office so that Carol can't eat them. Carol has a couple as she sits in her bedroom upstairs without her husband.

"These turned out great," Tyler mumbles. "I think you did most of the work though. I was too busy..."

"Trying to distract me," Faye finishes for him. "Asshole."

Tyler kisses her cheek, "I'm your asshole."

"Shut up," Faye mumbles and she stuffs her mouth with a brownie.

Tyler laughs at her as he eats a brownie himself.

Faye drinks a cup of tea with Carol when Tyler heads out for a few hours. The two have became close, Carol is a maternal figure. Especially since Grams left Faye her house.

"Should my mom and I move there?" Faye asks Carol.

"Sheila did leave the house in your name, Faye," Carol reminds her. "That's what she would want. Why else would she have left it to you?"

"You're right," Faye sighs. "I'll mention it to my mother when she gets off work in the morning."

"If you could use some part time work, I could talk with Richard," Carol claims. "He could use a part time assistant here at the house."

"Are you sure?" Faye asks.

"Of course I'm sure, sweetie," Carol coos. "Wait here and I will go discuss it with him right now."

Faye smiles as Carol hurries toward Richard's office. Faye could use a part time job now that she's quit the basketball team. Morgan and Lori spend time with her when they aren't having dates or basketball practice. Faye needs something to do in her spare time. Plus, she'd be working for her boyfriend's dad and he's growling to like her. Just not as quickly as Carol did. Richard and Faye have a mutual respect for one another, one could say.

"Sweetie, Richard would like to speak with you," Carol says as she returns to the dining area. "About a job."

Faye nods with a shy grin before going to Richard's office.

"Have a seat, Miss Bennett," Richard says as he motions for the chair on the other side of his desk. "Let's talk."

Tyler goes to his room and finds Faye jumping on his bed in a pair of his boxers and one of his tank tops, smiling crazily.

"You're happy," Tyler points out.

Faye yelps out in fear and falls. Before she tumbled onto the floor, Tyler is quick to catch her.

"You scared me!" Faye exclaims.

"Sorry, babe," Tyler muses. "Why are you so happy?"

"I'm your father's part time assistant," Faye replies. "I got a job!"

Tyler smiles. "Congrats. Dad likes you."

Faye smiles and she lays in Tyler's bed with him, lays her head on his chest. Tyler combs his fingers through Faye's hair as she listens to his heartbeat, she slowly but surely falls asleep.
